Remember folks, this pedal is only replacing the "AMP-CABINETs". And this is the beauty of it. This is not an amp plug-in where you get all kind of amp sounds. You will have to add all sorts of pedals before it and THIS, has to be at the very end of the signal chain on the pedal board.
It really is a great pedal. You can remove the stock ir's and replace with your own. I put acoustic ir's in mine and use it strait to the pa for live shows.
Yes one for PA and one for the amp's send/retur. Sadly there's no other way to bypass the IR's if you want to turn off other than deleting one of the bass ir as an empty space.
Honestly the Cube baby AC is as good as most of the IR pedals. 33.00 USD. It's a pain in the ass getting windows 10 to acknowledge the loading software but once you get the files for C++ loaded onto the windows program it's loads easily. (get them from windows) I tried the 64 bit and they didn't work....32 bit C++ files worked. It has a built in battery chargable with usb cord. It's got 9 slots for IR files.....I use the LL16 from Cuki IR site. Sounds great on my Grand Auditorium and LL16. These IR's love the fishman preamp piezio....okay with SBT yamaha piezio if you EQ it. (I use it for Acoustics which it's made for but could use electric amp IR's) The D45 files it comes with are great....some IR files are more quiet....these two are. This pedal is great because it has compression and Antifeedback, chorus and reverb....they're all very useable. There's also EQ, delay, and tremelo. Instructions suck but you can figure it out if your tenacious. Once you got it it's easy. Sounds great. Hold down A & B switch to turn off bluetooth. Quickly push down B & C switches both at once quicky to go into program mode. Hold down switch (A,B, or C) you want to program to load settings on that switch.....it blinks and then it's set. Hold down B&C for 3 or 4 seconds to leave program mode. I only like the pre installed IR's for the two D-45 IRs and the Pro setting #9. A couple more are okay...a few are useless.
Interesting, but can someone explain to me why this pedal only simulates speaker cabinets? I thought IR loaders could also load amps and effects IRs. Can this pedal not do amp simulation?
What an epic fail. The included IRs are literally worthless, you can grab hundreds better off tonehunt among a thousand other places. You can literally do it on a phone, its just a USB drive with a few wav files. To not review whether this sounds the same as using your PC, or some other IR loader, and whether its actually any easier than using a PC, is a pretty epic fail for your viewers and a real waste of your abilities. Would have been extra points for loading a reverb IR on it.
It's a pedal that allows you to insert your own IRs on it. Not a fail. Just comes loaded with 11 pre made ones. $55 for a pedal you can upload is a steal.

Have you guys ever listened to Stevie Ray Vaughan?
Based on 2:50 ... that'd be a hard no.
Im thinking more like Steamy Ray Vaughan.... playing a little rattlesnake for y'all hahahahahahahaa

@chadhagene7665 that is a great use-case. It is small, simple and works well, so it would be a perfect fit for that. Thanks for sharing that.
Can you connect headphones to the 1/4" output?
Digital sounds really "not soft" but it is small and light so....whatever you want to choose.
Can you use both outputs at the same time?

Just cab..putting pedals in front is doable but will sound flat and dark/muddy..IR only pedal will work best with preamp to tweak to your liking..
@@xvikingkongyeah just buy a preamp pedal and it’s golden
@@michaelbuczko4967 true.. even without hi/low cut parameters, it sounds really good..
I'm confused.. so.. out of the cab ir into the overdrive?!
No, the cab ir is ab impulse response. Think of it like your guitar cab. Id place it last in the chain.
Great editing
Thanks @oed706
Considering that it is a 20-20khz freq response, it's silly to say that it has the amp-in-the-room feel, at least it's not coming from the pedal
bye nye sonic ir
welcome cube baby

I can’t take anyone seriously who uses the word “literally” two sentences In a row.. Worthless? lol suuuuure. They did not fail.

@@tormentridden congrats - thats the point dude. The review only reviews the included IRs, not the pedal
