- Hello my lovelies, it doesn't seem 5 minutes since we were last together. I'm back and super excited to be part of 'Christmas in July' for my 2nd year. So come on over and join me for some more crafty endeavours! I think I will mainly concentrate on gift knits, let me know what you think and share what you are making.

I too am doing Christmas in July, I am using Christmas colours for wrap and have just bought the pattern for the Stansbury shawl it’s lovely. Thank you for the inspiration xx

Hello Karen, the excitement for Christmas in July is building to a crescendo! I can't remember everything, and they may not be in the correct order but - Primrose yarn with the other skein will be great with your dress, the squirrel mittens are gorgeous, the blue and mustard yarn for the hat is perfect, the pastel group of minis are my favourite but the brights will certainly be fabulous for a stand out project. Love the idea of the dolls for your mother with the change of outfits and a picnic or other blanket, How lovely for her to receive a small parcel now and again with a change of clothing, it will be such a lovely surprise x
Maureen what am I like, a big kid!!! I have cast the Primrose yarn on and it is beautiful. I am determined to cast on the mitts and hat even if I don't finish them. I love the pastel and brights yarns I have and will enjoy making a final decision for projects. My mum is going through a difficult time and I know Christmas is going to be especially hard so this might be the perfect gift for her, with little presents popping through the post xx

Definitely the primrose and mini skein for the shawl. I have the Thorney briar mitt pattern but yet to start. My Queenswalk quilt is taking up all my time at the moment.
I just love the primrose yarn and have cast the shawl on. On the Thorney briar mitt is going to me so pretty made up. Well done you on your Queenswalk quilt, they do take a time but are so lovely. x
Glad you found the embroidery! Lots of projects there. Yes I’m Vlogging my Christmas in July too so seeing what I can get on with.

Hurray for finding your embroidery!!! 🎉🥳🥳 That can be so frustrating not knowing where it is! I'd love an Advent, but I've never bought one. I agree with you to use the Primrose yarn for a shawl. It looks lovely with that dress. 😍 I love the 2 amigurumi girls! Adorable!!! I plan to make some Christmas presents for granddaughters...2 hand puppets (sock puppets, I think) and I want to make 2 Christmas stockings.
Debbie what am I like, at least I've found it and now to put some work into it. I lose things all the time, I pick loads of things up at once and put them away. I have cast the Primrose yarn on and it is beautiful, wait until I share with you. I love the idea for hand puppets your granddaughters will love them. Christmas stockings I just dream of them xxx

Lovely to see you back for Christmas in July! I have started Christmas socks! I don’t plan to do too much more myself as I am learning to spin so I’m taking part in the Tour de Fleece! I shall be interested to see how your projects progress throughout the month! The little dolls for your Mum will be so cute!
