Mexico City is definitely an underrated training ground, especially for the high altitude. Thanks for getting some good quality footage.

Thanks to sweat elite to have come to México and Watch those guys doing their workout for 2022 Houston Marathon. Although some of them will be in the México City Marathon in November 28, 2021.

The bottles of Electrolit, the hand measured heart rates, the packed track with middle aged women jogging. This is exactly what I expected out of the Mexican team 🇲🇽 and they put the work in
The athlete at 4:36 with the blue jacket Is Brenda Flores, she won the Panamerican 10,000 title in Canada against Desire Linden, she's also an Olimpian. Too bad you couldnt see Juan Joel Pacheco (2:09 marathon) & Daniela Torres, Juan got an injury after Tokio 😣.
Thank you for uplifting this aspect of Mexico and Mexican culture! I feel it’s rare for those who don’t know much about the people there, or haven’t traveled there, to see a positive community with an exceptional track culture. 🙌🏾
Who else noticed that between 20:28 and 20:39 they seem to have used the wrong footage, right at 20:28 the marathoner in the Nike blue singlet is wearing spikes and then the footage shows him wearing alphaflys, and then spikes again. Still great video from Sweat Elite, and kudos for showing some awesome latinamerican athletes!
Not quite what I expected as far as conditions around the track, lots of joggers and others training. Different facilities around the world reserve them for elites only.
At least you guys have public tracks, or that’s how it seems. In California (and most of the U.S. I believe), all the tracks are on school properties, and as a result, VERY few of them are open to the public. Don’t need rules on the tracks when nobody can access it in the first place.
@@yourunclemaurice6234 yeah I found that surprising too. In Australia we have public tracks. Our schools don't have those facilities. Footy ovals, soccer fields, tennis, basketball and net ball courts but not athletics tracks.
Yup! Coaches here still think that static stretching prevent muscle contracture and stiffness, but science says the opposite. I discuss that with my coach a lot 🤣
Along with kenyan and Ethiopian counterparts, Mexican runners hold a special place in my heart. Martin Mondragon, German Siva, Alejandro Cruz, Andres Espinoza, to name but those...

Sweat elite giving the running TH-cam world what we need 💪 another phenomenal video…. The lengths you go to for filming is just so great 👏
Now they just need a session with you and Mr, Kibble!

Amazing video as always, The most talented of the group is Santana Marin ( running with yellow gloves on) he's a 1:01 half marathoner
You guys are killing it with the content between the podcasts and filming!

Loved the choreographed drills. Our running group definitely needs to take a page from that.
I know every ethiopian will smile when they get to see the drills 😆
Awesome job man!!! Love the content! So cool to see runners from outside of the US!!!
Excellent video, they really are very good runners, thank you very much for visiting Mexico!

Love what you do mate!!! When you go back home you gotta do an Aussie session!
Yes I'd like to see that too.
Great stuff!
We need more Mexico running videos!!!
I guess static stretching before a workout is still a thing there! Very interesting to see the differences in philosophy.

Does anyone know where in Mexico City this track is/where there are public tracks?
