Great overview of your visit! I plan to visit in June. I see the common issue with the beach from other vlogs is also the constant offerings from vendors. Did they keep coming back after you told them no initially? I would like to enjoy sitting on the beach. Also, what was your favorite restaurant you dined at? thanks!
Thank you!! They didn’t really come up to us after we said no, but they are walking around there all day looking for new people! 2 men had animals on chains, monkeys, etc which made me sad so I didn’t even want to be on the beach :( The people who sell the excursions have some sort of deal with the hotel so they also come into the pool area to sell them. The restaurant Agave was our favorite I would say 😊

We arrived at around 4 PM! So basically got settled and went straight to dinner! Lol. Weather was literally perfect too. I hope you have the best time!! ♥️
we stayed here last Xmas could not go swimming on the beach, too windy rough waters always Red Flag, however people in other resorts were fine and had no trouble going into the water.
To be honest I’m a really simple eater I ask all my food to just be cooked with olive oil lol BUT my husband is a foodie and he describes the food there as average lol My favorite meal there was the Mexican restaurant called agave!
Honestly they’re so different! If I wanted to have more fun and be interactive I’d do this one. If I wanted to have more of a calm, fancy, relaxing vibe and have more areas to explore- def casa de campo!
Was that a Disney resort.. jk, that looked amazing.. I need a vacation like that, thank you for sharing!! 🫶

Oh wow! Yeah the beach was def a little iffy. When i stayed at Casa de Campo in La romana last November the beach was literally perfect no issues
Is the excellence club worth it?
I don’t believe we upgraded to excellence club but I looked at the perks online and I don’t see anything worth it personally!
I believe it is worth it. Hubby and I get it each time. We have stayed at three Excellence Resorts.
How was the food? Kept seeing reviews bad and good. We’ll be there in June but we’re simple and will just go with the flow.
