Since I have left the organization I have experienced the support of Jehovah and Jesus in my life more than ever before. That has helped me to cope with the rejection. Even though it has been a hard road, it also has given me strength to know that no matter what I face in life, if I have Faith and belief in Jehovah and Jesus they will never leave me. I appreciated having grown up in a spiritual environment. There are things I still agree with that the witnesses teach. My understanding of what God wants is now not influenced by any man or religion, but by reading and studying the Bible with the aid of His Holy Spirit. 1John 2:26-27 I am writing these things to warn you about those who want to lead you astray. But you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you everything you need to know, and what he teaches is true-it is not a lie. So just as he has taught you, remain in fellowship with Christ. Studying and researching the Bible and relying on God's Holy Spirit takes a lot of time, but has been most enjoyable, especially when you find interesting gems.
Amen. I'm always interested in knowing what spiritual podcasts people listen to. If you don't mind me asking, do you have some favorites? I'm always looking for new ones to listen to.
Vincent my husband and I left over 3 years ago. At first we watch so many exjw TH-cam. It was like we were bit obsessed with it, wanting to know how much more we didn't know about how wrong they were. But now we know we were indoctrinated with false beliefs and don't watch to many exjws videos. For one reason why is; because some are only interested in running down the organization and have left their Faith in Jehovah and Jesus. I am only interested in moving on building a relationship with Jesus which I never had as a witness. I am not saying that some of the videos that are put out there by exjws are wrong, because we really needed that help to get out of their control and see how we have been mislead. But at this time in my journey I prefer to examine the Bible and listen to videos on how to understandings the Bible. I also enjoy videos on the history of the faithful men and women who suffered persecution and death for the sake of sharing their understanding of the Bible with others. So far I have only watched 2 of your videos and enjoyed them as I could relate to what you experienced. Those videos of yours were concise, not to long. Thanks for your time and effort to share them with us. 🙏📖
Hi Vince, sorry for what you feel about the Governing Body, i have to Disagree. GB are deceived by their fellow brother and and own pride. But their our brothers in Christ. We have to pray for them and forgive. 1 John 2:6 my beloved brother. So excited to your next one❤
