Tapping on bagpipes? You're the Van Halen of the pipes. Sounds awesome. Playing a tapping part on a guitar isn't that hard, you basically get free notes by tapping and pulling off the string. Playing each note separately like you did would be unimaginably difficult, but you made it sound great. Kudos, darling. You rock
Thank you so much. Bagpipes fingerwork works on finger combinations so to play one note, sometimes 4-5 fingers need to move at the same time
@@TheSnakeCharmer I noticed watching you play that there seems to be no linear progression to the fingerings that corresponds to the notes, like you find on a clarinet or flute. You inspired me to want to take up the bagpipe, but the fingerings do appear difficult. To become as proficient as yourself, that's not going to happen. I love the sound associated with Irish folk. Love your videos, I have them downloaded on my computer. Nageena, Aasman Se, Drowsy Maggie, The Foggy Dew are my favorites. I can't play Hallelujah because it's so beautiful I tear up.
