I don't know about that, there was "Clue" based on that board game which was basically the original "Among Us", and then there was "Without A Clue", the comedy movie about Sherlock Holmes being an idiot and Watson being the real brains of the operation. Someone can't mention the movie Clue without me thinking about Without A Clue, which was a better film.

Only WatchMojo would consider a list of critically acclaimed films as "underappreciated".... I mean, who writes this crap? The Birdcage won a ton of awards, and did very well at the box office. Not unlike most of the films on this list.

I love Clue!! My sister and I used to watch this endlessly as kids and loved it with all the slapstick and one liners. As an adult I still love it for those reasons but as an adult, and History teacher, I love it for the McCarthyist backdrop. One of the best films ever made, it'll always have a nostalgic place in my heart.

It was critically well received at its release, but I honestly feel like the only person I know that really loved Into The Wild. Maybe something about that personal journey of discovering self and purpose struck me as a teenager in a complicated household, but the acting was great, the cinematography was incredible, and I still regularly play songs that Eddie Vedder wrote for the soundtrack.

What makes Birdcage so impressive is that, on paper it shouldn't hold up at all. It's a gauche comedy that use gay and trans people to set up jokes. And yet it still works, because the jokes don't feel disrespectful, and the plot resolves and an honest and affirming way. I hope to god they never remake it though
