This was a very emotional song for me to work on. I had been meaning to do it for a while but put it off because the original song is already so good! So the pressure to do it justice was immense. Woodkid is one of my favorite artists and I still love every song on Golden Age and listen to it whenever I need that jolt of magic.
In an interview, Woodkid said that he wanted his music to "make people feel epic". It's a word that gets overloaded a lot, but it's the best word to describe the feeling! So I'll keep slapping it on all my remixes :)
