"Recorded this in my kitchen on a rainy day in Los Angeles back in 2013. I was coming out of a (mostly self inflicted) year of chaos and i remember how good it felt to pour everything out into this song. It was used in my friend Scott Coffeys film Adult World and later re-written and re-recorded for Wolf Parade's EP4. I love the WP version but the tossed off raw quality that comes with getting a song out of your head and immediately onto "tape" is hard to beat.

I remember watching Adult world for the first time years back and hearing this in the film. I was disappointed to never find the full song ANYWHERE so it was a big deal coming across this tonight. I can die fucking happy now 🖤

So happy I went back to find this song and instead of finding the TH-cam chopped up version by a fan from the Adult World movie, I found this finally released version ❤

Holy Shit! I was craving Adult World so just streamed it. I totally forgot about this song and wanted to get a clean studio version of it.....Ok..wow......coming back to me now.. Dan Boeckner has a webpage fan site......or he did 10 years ago.......I think there was a bunch of people writing to him asking to record this..... very cool, and heartbreaking. A song that keeps you in touch with your humanity.

Any idea why this is no longer able to be downloaded from their patreon? It looks like the other songs are still downloadable. I've been looking for this version for years and finally gave up like two years ago only to miss the release apparently.
I don't think this was actually available for download in the first place. I used alternative means to extract audio to host on TH-cam, for those that may want to include this in their YT Music playlists or do not want to stream from Patreon. I think the Patreon link is higher quality. With respect to Dan Boeckner, I've tried my best to funnel any views towards his and Devojka's Patreon, or at least provide awareness that it exists (and that it is great!).
Lastly, I would not have uploaded this if it was not publicly available and nor is it monetized on YT.
