Perofeta at fullback makes sense with Barret not having played a lot recently. Love the winders as Reece will provide great attracting plays and Mark is super safe under the high ball and was the breakthrough player last year (I think) I'm a very happy camper :)
With the amount of talent oozing out wide and the fact Reiko has expressed his desire to play 13 from high school the coaches saw the best of both worlds and yes a world class wing turned incumbent 13

We’ve just seen how DMac performed in a final against a tuff side, and it was average. Yet he’s been thrown in as starting # 10 against a top test team. I would have thought he may have come off the bench later in the game, but there you have it ?
An average look about this team but still think they’ll get up given home ground advantage, first game of the season and quality coaching staff etc. The only player to make an international XV would possibly be Ardie Savea @7.
@@Spoof01 that’s bc good players can transition more easily into other positions ie Jordie from Fullback to 12 but Ardie’s a better 7 imo. In fact, I don’t think he’s even the best 8 in NZ at the moment
The ABs Coaches said that SRP form was one of the major considerations for selection in to the team. Glad that they have been consistent. Not been a fan of Razor but I am warming to him after this team selection to play the English. Go The ABs
This team is solid, with the likes of Asafo Aumua, Beauden Barrett, Anton Leinart Brown, Luke Jacobson coming off the bench. I honestly believe England will fall off after 60mins. AB's 15+
Bit of a worry with Perofeta at 15 if Zarn Sullivan was fit would he been picked at fullback as he was first choice for the Blues other then that a pretty good side
Think Ioane lacks DEFENCE and is more suited at Wing. Love speed of the backline, any break should end in a try. Large Mobile pack but limited pure lineout jumpers. An impact bench which will be fully utilized last 20mins. Just my opinion guys
Very similar team to what foster would’ve picked , I guess it’s easy to forget , foster was close to getting it right last year after a few forgettable years
@@rubendutoit586 coaching is a team effort these days , no doubt the coaching team improved with those additions but it’s never a one man job anyway , specialists needed on every level to succeed

I went 12/15 in the starting 15. Got 9, 11, 14 wrong. Had Ratima, Clarke & Narawa.
I picked Perofeta at 15 though.
