  • Join Taste of the South editor Brooke Bell as she visits J.Q. Dickinson Salt-Works outside Charleston, West Virginia, to learn how they produce artisan, small-batch salt. From pulling brine out of a prehistoric sea under the Kanawha Valley to hand-harvesting salt crystals with locally made wood rakes and scoops, J.Q. Dickinson is preserving their family's history and the history of the area.
