    I will admit that these are very good fixtures. I bought about 40 of them a few years ago. And while there did work very well, because of them being so cheap, their not as durable as the more expensive fixtures. So when traveling interstate putting on shows, they tend to get damaged during transportation despite the most expensive travel cases and the manufacturers make you pay for return shipping. So short term staying in one place it’s really good. BUT if you’re putting on shows all around the country they’re not the best

    Great video, young man. Way to find value in your equipment. Always put your customers needs first and keep hustling.

    Thinking of getting some of these. I like how all the diodes show all the colors.

    May be better for the price, but not better. Metal casing instead of fans, better dmx and ac connectors, transformers for safety and predictability are some good and legal mounting options so that you actually can use them is nice things about the more expensive ones. There arent many places you can put lights on the floor due to ground loop problems, eg. between the audio and light equipment.

    What a nice chap you are & your presentation is very good. I have a couple of these lights and they are very effective as back-lights and mood changers. I got them both for £30 which is bugger all compared to the £k's spent on the array around them. Like you I am very impressed with them.. Many thanks for your input...

    You know expensive lights have a more durability in the leds and can handle heavy abuse by transport

    Please be careful, buying cheap stuff from China can be a good way to lose your money. If you look at the ad you are responsible for return shipping which is very expensive (sometimes cost more than the product). The scam is Chinese companies ship their stuff for free from China but you have to pay real money to send it back if it does not work. It has happened to me and some other DJ's I know. You end up with half your money and a pile of junk. They don't have any idea of quality control in China. BEWARE!!!!

      We have a supplier in china who build top quality Lighting Fixtures, but you pay premium.
      ** pricing in Australian Dollars **
      Led Pars/ Bars we buy go from anywhere between $300.00 - $400.00 per fixture - we have about 80 of each
      Moving Lights - $1000 - $5000 per fixture - we have about 80 moving lights in total,
      next year we are about to buy 16 600w led moving spots (these go for about $5,000)
      Basically top of the line
      So point being, yes there are companies out there who don't care and build absolute crap and there are companies out there who will build top quality products. It's about doing your research and finding out about certain companies...

    I have a pair of these and they seem great!.. bright, well made but didn't come with instructions. Is there any way they have an automatic plug and play setting. Im running these master/slave. But it would be handy to have them cycle through what they do including the strobe. Without dmx

    There’s no one going to share a brand-name here?

    • @WilliamOgden
      @WilliamOgden  ปีที่แล้ว

      There is no brand name. It's literally a generic bar. Not a single clue who it was made by.

    I remember first getting into lighting. I brought 4 chap rgbw pars and their shit. About a week after using them, the fan makes a terrible noise. I then switched to Chauvet q12 slim pars and never looked back. I don't think you should continue with this stuff if you say these lights are better then professional gear lol.

    Complete bullshit, lots of them needs fans because lack of cooling metal also lack of CRI better said natural colors with cheap lights people will let people look horrible and sick on stage.
    It's more like you gonna say I can't afford quality lights so I pretend these are good...

    • @WilliamOgden
      @WilliamOgden  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey listen man if you want to pay 10 to 20 times the price of one of these to get a light that's 50% better, you are more then likely to do so. I'm a rental guy so everything is cost to return. These lights have returned their value 10 times over so I'm actually feeling pretty good about my decision.
