That’s the songs that put him on the map !! UFO was on the brink of super stardom before Moog and Schenker got into a fight with Moog punching Michael had that fight never happened this band would have had a tremendous worldwide following thanks directly to Michael Schenker blistering guitar work !! The UFO stuff is fantastic with Schenker playing lead guitar !!
Satriani had some harsh words for Michael at the 3G show (that’s what I heard) but it seems the Schenker had some according issues here and I guess the technician got some dark looks from his part. I might be wrong but he seemed to be off on the soloing
@@rainerpawellek1292Joe Satriani is a great player but he will never equal the stunning innovative playing that Michael Schenker has had from a very young age. Plus Schenker’s melodic soloing is unmatched in rock guitar. First heard Schenker on SITN upon release in 1979, UFO Amphitheater Chicago, been a fan ever since, 45 years. Great guitar players such as Satriani & Vai of whom iv seen both, are well worthy of recognition, but Michael Schenker is in a diff & far superior class. The only player worthy of being likened to him is Richie Faulkner, who at age now 44, cites MS as a major influence on his own style & playing.
@@rainerpawellek1292Michael freely admits he was going through his own personal hell at the time with drugs and alcohol, so Satch probably had good reason to be harsh. I've seen some of the G3 footage from back then and yeah, not good. His childhood friend Uli tried to carry him through at times, but wasn't very successful. In the bigger picture though, I'm sure Satch would be the first to admit Michael's influence on rock guitar going back fifty years, apart from the 15-year self-imposed hiatus during that time. I'm just grateful he's still with us and playing better than ever at nearly 70.
Michael was 67 and sounded as good as he did in 77. Incredible!!!
Best rock guitarist Germany ever had. And still has 😊
Lights out .... One of my favourites
MICHAEL LOOKS BETTER THAN HE HAS IN YEARS - GREAT VIDEO TOO!! Thanks
This was a GREAT show!! We were third row, on the right. I couldn't stop smiling the entire night!
One of my fav guitarists ever. Saw UFO at the Swing Auditorium in Riverside CA 1978. Kickass.....
One of the greatest hard rock songs of all time Top 10

Потрясающий Майкл! Люблю его! ❤❤❤
Saw them at Tally Ho last month...awesome show

Watching this cat play makes me understand Satriani more. ✌️
