For once, an HGBF Gunpla that really improves on its base kit without making it too weird. I have the HGUC GM Sniper II as well, and I think the K9 upgrades don't look out of place at all - I always thought the GM Sniper II was a little too plain in its armament. K9 unit does look a little silly when mounted as a backpack, but I can live with it. I don't watch Gundam Build Fighters so the red visor isn't a problem. Good review Prime. Cheers
I was kinda disappointed when they started melee fighting in the Kampfer vs K9 fight that they didn't make it a cool knife vs knife fight. Kampfer Amazing doesn't even come with it's beam sabres.
I know it's unlikely you're still waiting for an answer, but just in case, yes, you can replace the grey parts with the original GM Sniper II parts. In fact, you can build the entire kit as the original GM Sniper II design, just with a different color scheme. That includes the original backpack, so if you don't like the K9 unit you can ditch it and still have a complete MS.
gotta love how they designed this kit to pretty much handle anything it comes across. the fight he was involved in made me want it.
I really like how they included the soldiers from the show. I really didn't expect them to do that.

The Knife Was Seen in The Manga but only Briefly.
