    I’m so glad you shoot in those older mundane residential neighborhoods. You really pull out the charm and beauty of those places.

      Thank you! Plus I feel if you want to see the popular places there is a lot of content out there already.

    Well done. I remember buying this film off the shelf back in the day. Loves that there was natural style video along the images so we can see the color rendering of this film. I used your video to help refine my Natura 1600 formula for Filmist.

    Lovely!! Natura is one of the films I wish would come back!! I mean fuji just keeps discontinuing amazing films!!

      Thanks, yeah unfortunately they are just on a whole other thing now. At least they still seem invested in making some pretty great cameras.

    Well crap, they came out great! haha. I remember during a Japan visit in 2017 I saw some for sale (for normal prices) in.. I wanna say Lemon Camera? Anyway I just thought like "oh that could be fun, maybe another time". Little did I know there would not be another time.

      Thanks! Good story. Yeah I feel Like I had to have seen a few rolls around the regular price right when I got into film... I just had no idea at the time!

    You got super nice results back. Actually liking the daytime shots more. I am taking my role to Japan in November, looking forward to shooting it.

    Love this one, the music in particular is such a vibe. Which of the artists listed plays at 2:43? That whole sequence and track is dreamy af.

      Thanks! That one is 'Clouded Mind' by William Benckert. It's a chill one for sure!

    Sunny16 or ext. lightmeter? Thanks for sharing!

      @CLOCKCOUNTRY  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! For this one I used a lightmeter app, and for a few frames I checked with my mirrorless that I was filming with.

    Nice video, Andrew. Not as excited about the results as you are, but hey, shooting a different film stock is always fun. Thanks again for cool content.

      Thanks, Yeah I could see that. I think I was expecting it to fall more inline with some of the other cheaper fuji films, and maybe it does. But where I felt it was different is when looking at the dynamic range. I love how it rendered the skies. It just seemed to have this soft touch that didn't just let highlights go.

    Nice video, thanks for your sharing. May i know what ISO you set on the camera when using Natura 1600? 1600 ISO, 800 ISO or 1000 ISO? :P

    • @CLOCKCOUNTRY
      @CLOCKCOUNTRY  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks! I was just shooting at 1600.

    Which lab do you use to develop? I am still searching for a good one in Tokyo.

      I use アサヒ商会 (asahi shoukai) in Koenji. They are one of those neighborhood print shops. They send the slide film out to fuji so it takes a few days. The best thing about the little shop is they do 120 color negative in one hour (and sometimes 30min) most times. I mostly use them because I live right in Koenji so it's really convenient.

      @@CLOCKCOUNTRY thanks. I am in Akasaka and probably going to use a guy in Ebisu who has a similar sounding service. I used to use Fuji directly, but they came back VERY dusty and with chemical marks that was surprising.

    I've been wanted to try shooting with this film stock but it was so expensive and I cant justify to buy the film stock but now that it's been discontinued I kinda regret of not shooting with it

    • @CLOCKCOUNTRY
      @CLOCKCOUNTRY  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I mean if you get lucky and find a cheap roll go for it, but the prices are crazy.
