This one hit and what I have been working on for a bit. The schedule stuff and always on the move (like my mother taught). Past few months I've worked on just sitting or doing more for myself. Yes, I’ve been working on the balancing aspect for a while now 👍
Something my sister and I have identified as being our training from when we were young, the teaching that you are only worth something apparently if you work hard and push yourself all the time to be productive. We are both adapting how we do things and finding more of a balance in our lives with work and the rest of it. It’s a WIP (work in progress) as I navigate what is a temporary situation that I find myself in, but also includes many lessons that revealed where some of the imbalance was, and also some of the things were that were balancing for me, but that were not accessible under the current circumstances.
I’m more aware of these things now than I’ve ever been, and intend on continuing to implement the lessons learned moving forward as my life changes.
