I do suggest turning off the Minotaur, also my advice is use everything and farm skills up for levels Also play human first couple runs cause you’ll piss off shopkeepers otherwise, they are the sigma giga chads of the game that just one will win “debates” against multiple minotaurs by flexing. Boulders shatter against their immaculate jawline, they really do ask if you thought of killing them was enough to make them die
Glad y’all found this game, it’s an absolute hidden gem. When I play with friends we usually enable keep inventory on death and disable the Minotaur (he just ruins runs on floor 2 but doesn’t matter past gnome mines.)
9:34 by default, positive effect potions are drank when used and negative effect potions are equipped to be thrown when used. To equip a positive effect potion to be thrown, hold alt and press the number key that it is on your hotbar
Polymorph potions are also auto drink, but you can equip it and throw it at summoned monsters or companions to transform them lol. If you play as a monster cleric you can use your scrolls of summon and use polymorph on them in order to reroll for some powerful companions, including the possibility of getting a demon.
@@Retromationit increases your casting prof and magic I think? but killing enemies directly is the fastest way to level up, your xp gain for each kill is based on how much damage you do to an enemy, NPC followers only gain XP if you or they killed an enemy themselves
just got this game yesterday and ive already sank 6 hours into it, i did notice that its hard to play without breaks every half an hour or so bc the overly pixilated graphics hurt my eyes after a while :/ still incredibly fun tho
when are you gonna go back to actual content. i came here to forget about problems not get lambasted with politics. im sure there are plenty of others who feel the same.

beat this game multiple times as multiple classes, very hardcore and very fun

Retromation. If you have a torch in your offhand you can use it to block in a pinch if you don’t have a shield.

You may not know but you don’t level from healing you level from either defeating enemies or increasing your proficiencies

Interesting! I found I was usually the highest level or tied for it in this and I did little of the fighting!
