More like stuck on talking. Should be called stuck on talking about wood work. With no hands on. Lol
Clearly you don’t watch the videos bud. But thanks for the feedback 🫡 I do appreciate it .
He showed how to do everything. It was very helpful.
You sound like a hater, man. This guy is literally dropping all types of gems and doing all the research for guys like us to jump in and get going. If he just showed you what he made and didn't tell you anything else then you would say it's not enough. You clearly didn't watch the whole video or any of his others.
Try watching all the videos. He does show you how to make many of the ideas. It also as much about giving you ideas so you can make something
Even then, talking about woodwork is super great also. Your comment...not so great
I Like The Way That You Made A Mistake And Showed Us How To Fix It Thanks A Bunch
Skäl 🫡 my pleasure
This is crazy! I have been watching teaching videos for 7 years and In one day of watching your videos you have become my favorite woodworker you tuber. Thank you for really teaching us how to actually build stuff. I mean , you really teach !!! , I plan to retire in 10 years to become a full time woodworker and you have inspired me. God bless
It makes my heart happy to hear this my friend , my mission for this channel is to inspire & share the little bit of knowledge I do have . To hear this makes me smile 😊. These are some of the older videos too , I can’t wait to see your thoughts on the latest videos , thanks so much for tuning in and leaving such great feedback , you’re an absolute rock 💫
@@Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks my pleasure ! Definitely inspiring man 👍! I will watch the newer ones as well and definitely give you feedback 😃
I love the cuts being done with the lawnmower
Hahahah
Love this channel. A "Real" bloke in a "Real" workshop making real items. There are way too many "showroom" like workshops on TH-cam on both sides of the pond. My workshop is 16' x11' (4.9m x3.35m ish) Yep, I'm in England but this place was built when we still had imperial tape measures :) Now, I'm off to make some sawdust
Oh yes indeed . I built my 18x16 shop with my own two hands and that in its self is the most rewarding . I am just another bloke in another shop 🫡 from USA 🇺🇸
I have watched a ton of woodworking channels, and it is rare that someone shows you how to fix a mistake. Great Job!
🫡 thanks I appreciate ya
I do all my wood work outside because I don't have a shop so I can't wait for Spring.
🫡 I started outside myself brother , i appreciate you viewing and commenting
I was playing ur video while laying here with my eyes closed and just listening. And kinda still half asleep then I got tickled at myself when I heard the lawnmower because it gave me a jump scare, as I was not expecting nor prepared for that noise. But made for a pretty cool juggling act with my phone trying to catch it after throwing it off my chest s where it was laying
I omg that is so hilarious. I’ve done this as well watching David Attenborough documentaries falling asleep then a damn screeching monkey would make his little sound and yeah. ! 😉 good hands catching that phone
I appreciate that you left your mistake in the video most people edit it out and it helps to know how to fix it. I always tell my wife woodworking is also about problem solving. Keep up the good content man love what you do!
Thanks so much brother and I 10000% agree with this comment. It’s all a growing process. 🫡
Love the lawnmower sound effect btw
🫡
enjoying the series like the sound effects of miter saw
Lol thanks
I really enjoy this series it's very similar to Matthew peaches content but with a different flare on it!
Thanks brother , I love what Matt is doing ! I just found his channel about 2 months ago and loved his concept and put a spin on it and figured out that demonstrating certain projects was very informative to my viewers plus I add my edits and personality to it . 😉. Thanks so much for tuning in and commenting , you’re such a rock star 💫
Love the format and the making of projects that does not need $$$$$$ of machinery
🫡
I love all your content and projects! I appreciate u taking the time to explain the steps and business side of it at the end. I’ve binged watched over the past week 😊
😊 well I certainly appreciate that 😊 and I’m so glad you’re enjoying the content. You’re an absolute rock star 💫
Woodworking skills = Great, Dancing = ....... Great video as always. So much instruction that is easy to follow.
🫡 so happy you’re enjoying the content . Thanks so much for viewing and commenting , you’re a rock star 💫
When I was younger I took I woodworking class in college and was so disappointed, I never got back into it. Now that I am retired I am giving it another go. I wish you would have been my teacher and I think things would have been much better. Your explanations are clear, and your excitement for woodworking is contagious! Thank you so much for this channel and your projects.
Wow 🤩!! Thanks so much for such a wonderful comment ! I’m so happy to hear that you are enjoying and gaining something from the videos ! That means so much to me , you’ll be building all sorts of stuff soon lol ! Thanks so much for your views and your wonderful comment you sir are a rock star 💫
Love the series. One thought on the first project. Would it be faster/more efficient to cut the angles and dados on the wider stock first then rip to width? That would also ensure perfect alignment at assembly. Just a thought. Keep up the good work?
Well sure if you know how you want to lay it out already . lol 😂 🫡 there is more than one way to do it that’s for sure brother . Thanks for tuning in
@@Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks You, sir, are welcome. Any tips for starting out on Etsy? Did you just wing it when you started?
I love your 2 stroke miter saw!
🫡 lmao 🤣
fun build, that was really cool!! thanks for sharing.
🫡 thanks for tuning in !

Ok so a just found your channel and this newest video. Was just working my way through this series when new one appeared. You sir are fantastic proper inspiration and does great things. Thanks so much. And things will pick up for you brother . I have busts all the time. It’s part of the process 😉
@@Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks Cheers man appreciate that just hard ya know being first sale. Granted knew wasn't gonna be a big day but makes ya wonder sometimes when u do so little sales but crack 3 works worth massive effort into it. 👍🏴
Awesome shelf! Thank you for showing how to build it without a dado (did spell it right? lol) stack. Looking forward to trying to make one! Take care from your “Great White North” neighbor 🇨🇦
🫡 my absolute pleasure , yes you spelled it correct lol . Thanks so much for viewing and engaging with the content , you’re an absolute ROCK STAR 💫 , take care from the south side of the south of the great white north hahaha 😝
Morning coffee, BeardedViking and making sawdust. Inspiration for the day, I'll be making sawdust after my coffee because who likes sawdust in their coffee 😂

Love this channel. I really like the simplicity of these projects and the potential profit. I really enjoy this series. I love the “GAS POWERED MITER SAW.
Hahahah well thank you very much ! I’m so glad you’re enjoying the content.
I like the humor and the dancing! LOL What I really like is the simplicity of these projects and the potential profit. Everyone makes mistakes, but few show them and how to fix them! I'm from the upstate and been a follower ever since I found your channel. Love the Stuck on Sawdust series!
Well thank you kindly friend ! 🫡 🤣 got a tiny bit of Rhythm. Hahaha. Thanks so much for the views and engagement with the content , you’re an absolute rock star 💫
3 mins in and I'm already laughing 😂 Love the lawn mower sound effect! Seriously though you're rockin these vids man 💜🤘🏼 Keep up the good work 🤜🏼
🫡 will do ! 😂
I joined your TH-cam few moments ago. I wasn’t aware there was such a thing but I don’t make videos go figure. Happy to support your efforts. Thanks
My guy ! I so appreciate that ! 🫡 I’m gonna give you a shout out in the next video . Do you have some photos you can send me of some stuff you’ve done I can share ?
Emailed them to you Daniel
Time saver for you Dan…. Cut the piece to length and cut dados before ripping to width. That way they are guaranteed to match exactly

Nice save brother, really like how you’re a regular guy in a regular shop. Think that’s why so many relate to you! Great work enjoy your content
🫡 I indeed am a regular guy with a regular shop ! You nailed it right on the head brother. Thanks my friend !

Legend man,
🫡 you’re a ROCK STAR 💫
Hat's off to you again D. Great video. Like a pro, making projects like these look easy.
🫡 thanks so much for tuning in brother !
Beautiful👍 creative shelves are always a good thing. Things that creates space, for the space, in the space makes most people happy imo at least 🙂
And you only put one single project in this video, and it’s not a bad thing because it brings more quality to the video. On the other hand, quantity is good if you need a lot of ideas👍 so the timing is perfect for single project. Anyway, thank you for sharing as always
My fav viewer ! 🫡 you always bring the heat to the comments ! Thanks for that ! You’re a freakin ROCK STAR 💫
I’m loving this series! I’m just now thinking about starting a Etsy shop and you’re giving me lots of confidence!
Hell yeah man I’m super happy to hear this ! 🫡

Yes indeed
Nice fix brother 👏🏼👏🏼

great project, i like the way you describe building them, considering joining after first of year, merry christmas
Hey man thanks brother 🫡. We’d love to have you for sure . So glad you’re enjoying the content and thanks so much for engaging you’re an absolute ROCK STAR 💫
bonjour super projet 👍
Thank you 🙏
I heard a woodworker say that they never make mistakes, they are design modifications.
I’ve heard it as it’s not making a mistake , it’s adding character 🤣
Exelente que se puede utilizar para sujetarlo en la pared gracias
Great to see a mistake now and then that means your human. The repair was a great fix as well.
Lol yes very human indeed 🤣 thanks brother your comments are always great.
@@Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks how is Cyprus to work with ?
What type of hardware would you use to hang that shelf? Love your channel and even more seeing the honesty of the mistake and adding that to your item description.
Thanks brother. I appreciate your appreciation. 😉 I pre drilled 3 holes into the back piece and sent 3 3” screws #10 with the shelf to mount strait into a stud in the wall.
New subscriber. You are entering and share great woodworking content 👍
Thanks so much
Very interesting project ! Loved the video editing and subbed. I will be checking out many of your videos from the past. I have tiny 8 x 12 shed that I turned into a place to do woodwork. Thanks and see you around.
Nice ! Skäl 🫡 thank you my friend
Great video again!
Just out of curiosity, what kind of hard ware did you use? You said you included it in the shipping package, but never showed it on video.
Thanks for the great project and video!
I wound up last minute deciding to pre drill 3 holes through the back and sent 3 #10 2 1/2” screws to fasten to a stud in the wall , along with plugs , as 1 option . The other option was just a French cleat system I posted in the description
The only person that can say they never made a mistake is one that has never done anything
That my friend is Good Wisdom. I thank you for it ‘ 🫡
Another fantastic video my friend. Just wondering what type of mounting hardware are you using? As always keep the awesome content coming your channel is bad ass!
I pre drilled 3 holes into the back piece and sent 3 3” screws #10 with the shelf to mount strait into a stud in the wall.
Just here for the algorithm
You’re a rock star bro
@@Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks Nah man, just the bare minimum to help others out. If all I gotta do is click a like and post the smallest of comments, then that's what I'm gonna do to help your channel.
I just made these but with two frame pieces instead of one. I'm curious what kind of mounting hardware you use. I cut a keyhole into the back of the leg but maybe there is something better. Thanks! I love your channel!
I see the answer below.
Appreciate the feedback , I pre drilled 3 holes in the back piece and sent 3 #10 3” screws for mounting directly into stud. 🫡
We should note that a lot of smaller table saws cannot support a dado set. The arbor is not long enough to hold the width and properly attach the nut, making a very dangerous set up. Be sure a dado set will work on your saw, before you invest in one. Work safe, stay safe!
🫡 indeed . 100%
Appreciate you bearded one! BTW what mounting hardware did you use? HAd to be somewhat strong I would imagine?!beginner here so thanks mans
So last minute I decided to take and pre drill 3 holes in the back piece and sent 3 #10 screws with it to mount directly into a stud along with instructions . Lol. Hope that helps
Where do you post the products you make is it Facebook marketplace eBay? What is the best place for us to try to sell love this channel you’re awesome. Thank you
I like Etsy because it’s user friendly and I was able to figure it out lol. I sell all over but mainly Etsy and I recommend Etsy. Thanks so much for the comment!
Can you make this out of a 2×4 and a 1×6 pine boards I don't have access to hardwoods here
Yes absolutely 👍 I just did another shelf using pine with walnu
👍🏻

Love your channel! Please drop a link to the hardware you use.
It should be in there but I’ll double check description

Love your channel and your engery. My question is when you sell on Etsy do you make a. 100 or make the projects as you sell one?
1 at a time . I can’t keep up with them big production shops lol 😆. Thanks for the comment brother . 🫡
So, what kind of mounting hardware did you use for that square shelf on the first project?
What I did was , took and pre drilled 3 holes on the back section and sent 3 #10 3” screws and instructions on how to find a stud in the wall and screw it in to the stud. Sent plugs to plug the hole . Sorry about that , it was a last minute change .
What type of hardware did you include with the shelf?
Hey there thanks for the comment , link to hardware is in the description that
What type of mounting hardware did you decide to use?
Hey there. I pre drilled 3 holes in the back piece and sent 3 2 1/2” #8 screws along with plugs for the holes , and instructions on finding a stud and installing the screws , lol . Pretty cut and dry , I just felt it’d be the best option for the client that purchased it ,
Nice and simple I like your style. Glad I found the channel
@@jdbriles409 I’m glad you found the channel too my friend ! God bless
You mentioned mounting hardware. I didn’t see a link. Could you share what you did for mounting hardware please?
I pre drilled three holes in the back , sent 3 #8 2” screws along with plugs for 3 holes , the client mounted them to a stud
Sounds like what I’d do. But I don’t knows everything and am always looking for better ideas. Thanks for the reply.😬
@@freedomfam6 my pleasure my friend
But what was your shipping cost?
12$ bucks
How much do you charge for labor and overhead? You said you made $115 out of $150 profit and only added up material.
If it’s a big enough project I charge by the hour and depending on the project like if it’s HandCut joinery or if it’s bigger I’ll charge around 75- 100$ per hr . The overhead tends to work its self out for me sorry I don’t have a more in depth answer to that
@@Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks I was just wondering. I’m wanting to start selling and I’m not sure what to charge for projects. I have the materials pretty well handled, but unsure of what to charge for my time and other overhead. I’ve heard craftsman say to charge $10 to $20 an hour for labor plus material, some things I make I’d have to charge more than I’d pay for it, Lol. So I’m searching for an answer. Thanks for the reply!!
