    On an island in the middle of Tokyo Bay, Japan, a small mountain rises above the waves. Seagulls and crows swoop above the ground and Mount Fuji can be seen on the distant horizon. And while this island seems like it's a normal geological formation rising up out of the ocean, it is entirely fake…man-made out of garbage.

      If anyone really wants to see some amazing things coming, such as disruptive emerging technologies, check out my other channel.
      I'm not advertising, it was made directly to help make people aware and to help people to learn about emerging technology and beyond.
      ------------------------------------------------
      I was giving out helpful links, but it won't allow me to do that now, so I made playlists.
      1. Check my channel, find a subscribed channel called Technology Research, go to the playlists there, and click "created playlists", that should show them all.
      2. After that, click on the title / text of each playlist, not on the pictures.
      3. Don't forget to click the "more" button in each playlist description for more articles and playlists.
      Also be sure to check out the "About" tab under the channel name, it's new on the channel, it will give links to official web sites / home pages for some of the companies with emerging technologies.
      Though only so many links can be placed there for different emerging technologies, not sure why TH-cam feels a need for a limit there.
      First view all the playlists, and then click on the "About" tab to view the links to official websites for some companies with emerging technologies.
      After that, click on the youtube channels to the right in the "featured channels".

      @@gameresearch9535 Even if your intentions are pure it's still advertisment in youtube comments. Even if your playlists are well compiled, this form of advertising is neither that effective nor greatly appealing, so if you want to get as many people as possible to research you maybe want to switch up your spiel.

    • @tbrochez2318
      @tbrochez2318 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Fried Mule tbf the success of Japan and South Korea could not of happened without US support. South Korea was less developed and more destroyed than the north before American intervention, and japan was likely to fall under USSR influence before the atomic bomb. Today we might of had a unified Korea in the style of the north as well as japan either being a post soviet state or governed in a similar style to North Korea. You’d also do well to remember the Capitalist autocracy and political instability in South Korea up until the late 90s that was juxtaposed to the authoritarian communist north.

    • @friedmule5403
      @friedmule5403 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@tbrochez2318 Thanks for your comment, Yes USA did start to help South Korea on its feet but that is the least they could do, after having invaded the country. But most of what you see today is not thanks to anyone but them self. Yes there were instabilities before then, but nothing like the DMC or North Korea and China right now, all scars from that time.

    • @tbrochez2318
      @tbrochez2318 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Fried Mule sure fair to say most of its failures and successes are mostly there’s alone. However the option for South Korea was either American post war occupation (not really an invasion, even perhaps a liberation from Japanese control) or a communist takeover like was seen in the north. Even still to this day with the amount of US military support there South Korea would be in a much worse state without us. South Korea is one of the very few successful American puppet states to come out of the Cold War alive and kicking.

    • @friedmule5403
      @friedmule5403 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tbrochez2318 Interesting comment! Now it is impossible to know how things could have been but I think that they had prospered naturally if there had been no war. North Korea got "forced" to decide with the Russian, It would have been political suicide and directly insane to side with USA at that time and USSR plus China offered a fantastic deal. So the NK leader and "god" could build his own perfect world, payed by the China and USSR with nearly no strings attached. NK was a perfect buffer between the imperialists and the communists. A buffer where neither China nor USSR could be held responsible for what NK did. That's also why the DMC was build. As you say, that puppet is alive and kicking, but I think it's on one side, because USA helped until they could stand on there own, while other places did USA never let the country try on it's own.
