I think the Cat simulator Stray did pretty well. So Maybe it’s possible

I think a Penny Arcade comic from a couple weeks ago summed it up best: Red Hood gave up on killing people, but he's too addicted to shooting people.

To be honest this is the most realistic version of Gotham City, desolated! With crime like that every night nobody would be outside unless they doing purge night
I'll take a more artistic version of Gotham than a typical city at night time any day. I don't mind the lack of citizens roaming around, but the city itself is so boring

This is probably the most accurate recap of Gotham Knights especially with how gear and weapons are earned
So many new games these days have decent concepts but then throw in annoying parts that kind of ruin the overall experience. "Games as a Service" or games that encourage micro-transactions just suck the ever loving fun out of games.
Really, truly, fun games are few and far between these days as far as I can tell.
To me, it honestly felt like an Assassin's Creed game with a Batman motif more than a Batman game.
Then I learned that something like half the team used to work on Assassin's Creed games.

Thought they would've mentioned how this is one of the few games where characters knock people off building with nothing to recover them (Spiderman ps4) lov pushing enemies off buildings just to jump off and see where they landed

I will never understand how they manage to mess up video games that are based on superheros that have existed for decades. Nearly all the work has been done for them. Character designs. Villains. Personalities. Aesthetic design. Literally just take one of the stories and adapt it into a game. Good God.

Yeah I feel like Rocksteady have a better understanding of and feel for the DC universe. They did a great job with the previous three Batman games and there’s no reason to think Suicide Squad will be any different. From what I’ve seen of cinematic and gameplay trailers, it looks like they’ve kept the spirit of the Batman games. Here’s hoping anyway!

@@icatfishedyourdad2767 Rocksteady made Tim a 40 year old bald man, they made Tim and Barbara date because they knew Batgirl and Robin date but didn't bother doing the research on which Robin Batgirl dates. They butchered the Hush story, they claimed Arkham Knight was a new character when it was just Jason Todd in a new outfit. And they Shoved the Batmobile down your throat in the last game.

Arkham City and Asylum were the greatest Batman games ever made hands down. people complain to much about Knight and the Tank feature yet the games graphics and gameplay mechanics completely superior over Gotham Knights. you sound like someone who is never pleased with anything

I just picked that girl and played through the whole game with one character. If you play the game that way it's actually pretty fun.
I choose her as well and stuck with her the whole game. If I'm gonna play that crappy game, I want to at least have a good view from behind.

I really hope they patch out the gear score, and maybe at least make the unlocks universal (usable no matter what character unlocks them)
Just as an FYI on the live service model joke at 1:15, on a recent episode of Triple Click Jason Schreier said he asked a contact of his that worked on the game from the start about it and they said there were never any plans for it to have microtransactions, as live service games tend to have, so it doesn't seem to have been designed as a live service after all. For reference he said it in Triple Click episode 127.

Honestly, the new Pocahontas honest trailer reminded me why I prefer watching the game trailers. These ones are just funnier IMO
Sometimes the movie ones are better, sometimes the game ones are better. But you're def right, this week's prize goes for the honest game trailer (i literally ended skipping the song in pocahontas)

It was just the same joke over and over, and the joke wasn’t even funny (which I guess is the point cause it’s “educational,” but it’s still not fun to watch or listen to). On the whole, I feel the game trailers are more balanced in their jokes without having to hit the same aggressive notes over and over again or feel like they have to loudly make a point. But yeah, the saving private Ryan trailer was better, so it is possible for the movie guys to be funny

Arkham Knight also runs better on older hardware than Gotham Knights does on current hardware.
Yeah, this didn't need to be next-gen exclusive. The graphics are basically an upgraded version of Origins.

It's probably just me, but it just seems like a missed opportunity to call the Court of Owls "The Owl House" during the Starring Segment.

Same I find it enjoyable. The only things that really bugs me is the grappling hook and that there isn’t much story mode game play that isn’t fighting (I mean like in games like Spider-Man they had other like side quests) I’d love to see them do what they say in like the emails such as movie night

just bought it on sale… it’s not a great game but I’m still hooked! 😂 the vigilante hook works and how new cases reveal to you is interesting. Plus once you get into a character you get more combat options and it’s starts to flow
Yeah. It happened to me as well. This game should be boring, but I can't help myself, I enjoy it. ;P I really like patrolling the city.
Everyone just whining because no batman. qq. Game isn't perfect but it didn't deserve all the hate.
Dude I was expecting this game to be avengers level terrible. But playing since Friday, i haven’t experienced one bug or glitch and the game hasn’t crashed at all. Mw2 crashes my ps5 at least once every couple days.
you guys must be wired diffrently from me because i bought it and i think i got half way through and i'm never going to touch it again. i fired up Asylum instead.
It's not that bad like you said once you play more one character the flow will be better and each character will have their own strength so playstyle later on will different as well. About the gear it somewhat same as in marvel spiderman not good but not bad sometimes i could be abit grinding but not all the time. I have play all previous batman game and to be honest i still miss the batmobile but the batcycle is not bad i mean since its not a tank as batmobile as well as fast but at least the details about auto conceal is pretty good i like that explaination

I loved the Arkham games and I was really looking forward to this one
But this is a huge step back in every way

Nah I loved that Nightwing, red hood, batgirl and robin got the spotlight for once.
They are all such cool characters in their own right.

Gameplay is terrible, storyline predictable, didn’t enjoy one thing about this game but love every single thing about the arkham games. First time in my 40 year life I’ve ever asked for a refund for a game, they said no so I thought I’ll just play out the storyline because at least that would warrant my money I spent on the game which was a choir. I was terribly wrong. It was so surprising that Talia brought Batman back to life with the Lazarus pit… wow totally caught me of guard lmao how obvious short a boring was this game. Felt like it was a game beating up antifa
