1:58 - 2:30 This part is personally my favorite portion of the soundtrack. It's truly emotional and legendary in my opinion. AOE doesn't deserve all the hate that it receives.
They really do put A LOT of hard work into this movie. Yes, they have an obsession with explosions though.

Loved this fight scene. Everyone (Optimus, Bumblee, Cade) all had a personal stake fighting Lockdown who had killed their friends earlier in the movie, and the score really gave it an emotional punch.
I personally believe that bumblebee was going all out while fighting lockdown
the one thing I say AoE did best is involve the human protagonist in the conflict. felt epic seeing Cade actually participating in the fight. Not just screaming on the sidelines

Used his weird seizures to find the Pyramid of Giza? Actually found the matrix of leadership? Revive robo space-jesus? Found out about Sentinel's plan and why he wanted the Pillars? Helped out Bumblebee so he can kill Laserbeak? Knocked Dylan into one of those Pillar that ended up killing him?

Lockdown was probably the best villain, no goofy one liners, jokes or getting cocky and overconfident. He was serious and focused at all times. He had a job to do and he was determined to do it. He posed more of a threat to optimus than any other villain has

The "Alright, Were Gonna Hold The Line, And Block The Bridge!" Was one of the best scenes in that battle

@@releasethecracken3099 the bridge scene was technically there to stop any cons from escaping. It worked out since it let Optimus kill them with one of Lockdown's grenades. Its just Bay not knowing exactly how to tell the story that made this messy

There's Drift too. "Let's try to use violence as a last resort." (sees tentacle, immediately starts stabbing it) "I KILL YOU! I KILL YOU! .....It is not alive anymore."
And my personal favorite, "I was expecting a giant car."
It was "Sensei, with your fate unknown, Bumblebee has held a command despite his complete and total lack of anything resembling warrior discipline. He is like a child."

what he means is that you die with honor. optimus doesnt need to die for humans he chooses to defend us all. thats the whole honor part going on there. the stabbing part is him fighting a badass robot prison guard dude thats about to kill all humans and autobots. lockdown has no heart for anyone hence no honor said to him. and optimus has 1 trillion honor and everyone will always love the hero. nobody likes the bad guys cept most of them stupid guys. optimus to the end!

In my opinion, each Bayverse movie has a somewhat unique style to it. In Transformers (2007) it has introduced us to the Autobot & Decepticon conflict, in ROTF, it had an ancient evil trying to destroy earth, DOTM gave us the meaning of a war in the form of Transformers in the end, AOE had the Autobots losing almost everyone they knew, but they met new allies in the end, & TLK had forshadowed Unicron & gave us knight Transformers! Sure, there might be bad things about the Bayverse, but what matters is that each one was enjoyable, even the last knight had an enjoyable battle that I liked it.
Some of the movies are hit or miss but the soundtracks are all amazing Steve Jablonsky is insanely good
4:18 would fit perfectly when Optimus is about to kill Megatron in the third film!

You know what I’ve always wondered? Since the AllSpark is no more, and there has been the failed attempt at Sun harvesting, where the hell do the Cybertronians get their Energon in the movies? And I’m not just talking about Autobots, but the Decepticons, as well...
That's a good question. At least in Transformers: Prime, there was an explanation in that series. During the Cybertronian civil war, the Autobots and Decepticons launched supplies of Energon off world, and some of them eventually made it to Earth, and formed Energon mines. I'm sure that is how they kept theirselves alive in TFP, but I'm not sure about the movies. Maybe a similar thing took place off screen
Me too, I wish they explained it clearly but surely something happens off screen but bay didn't want that stuff to be shown because maybe he thought that that would have been boring .
