I,m a man utd fan since a kid but also follow the vale .. love vale park.. was there last night against crewe .. a proper football club with proper fans..
Cheers for rating our ground quite highly. The club really is at the heart of the community and means a lot to there people of stoke. The away end used to be where the home fans are behind the goal now but changed it over the summer. There is a block empty in the hamil end due to trying to compact us in together. The stand opposite is only half in use due to them not being able to put proper facilities in the back yet as there used to be no seats in that part. The stand in the corner was never used tho and for about 10 years has just been sitting there gathering rust
Hopefully they can continue developing the ground, seems like it'll be a good season so that will go some way to helping that! Really need to do something with it rather than gathering dust.

Fantastic video giving our beloved Vale the showcase it deserves. We get a lot of stick from other clubs but one thing that always shines through is the strong connections that vale has with the local community. I’m a local psychiatric nurse and the links that our local services have are much more substantial with port vale and the contributions they make and the support they provide to our local vulnerable community members is often undervalued and underestimated. Thankyou for this 💛🤍🖤

She informed me that our local council actually stopped putting money into the club (while continuing to donate to stoke city). When vale tried to raise its own money by holding “vale market” the council shut it down. The resilience shown by this club over years and years really shows and I don’t think that there would be such strong connections if we hadn’t have been through such hardship. Fortunately we are in a good place at the moment and have fantastic owners and a manager who see that one of the biggest strengths of port vale is the fans and the community. X

Hey 👋 ive been a port vale fan since i was 2 im now 36 🙂 the owner's of the club have been able to reconnect the fan's back to the club after the horrific last chairmen. My godfather is the former chief scout of port vale 🙂 its wonderful to be a fan of the club again 😀 dont worry about the muppet steward as alot of vale stewards also work at Stoke City the other potteries club👍 great video 👍 ive subscribed 👍 take care and stay safe 👍
If you had been in that ground 6 years ago you would have rated it 2 out of 10. The empty blocks are mainly due to financing. When Carlisle are bringing 600 in an away end holding 3000, you’ve got to shut off the rest of the stand. As for atmosphere, you should have gone behind the goal in the Hamil end. An end which has always been for away supporters. Holds over 4000. Best stand in the stadium and finally this season it’s become a stand for us home fans. Glad you enjoyed your day. Sorry to hear about the steward, just to add to it as someone who studies in staffordshire so I have been to a few Vale games even been in the press box a few times they are a very welcoming club. I actually know 2 people who steward for Vale, theyve never been told they can not film. Port Vale have one of the best and most welcoming media teams in the EFL its a shame you've had such a bad experience here.
Yeah was clear just someone high on power. Honestly though that was the only negative of the day and it's very telling no other stewards cared... Hopefully have helped the club with this video
It's odd for that guy to call you out for recording, you only stopped once you go to the railing (not in the walking path/way of fans) no active game, and you didn't even have your hands held way out or using a selfie stick. I really enjoy the club history portion of the video and it was nice of fans to give a little interview.
I know the guy who told you to put your phone away as I work as a steward myself at port vale it does say on the sign in small print no video recording, but we do let this slip
