This guide was needed ! I suppose this guide also works on DW9 Empires ? Also are you going to make a tutorial about your graphics mods cuz all of your games look damn clean
Yep the combat in empires is pretty much the same for the most part, so you can utilize it there as well. I can make a guide for the graphic stuff I'm using sure.
I am using Reshade, you can install it on PC for nearly any game, and it doesnt count as cheat or mod, since it is purely visual. Its great for Koei games, since they are too washed out looking.
@@theCheeserChannel thanks i have it but not tested on DW9! btw i like how some people appreciate this entry for what it is, i've been longtime fan since DW3 and i liked 9 too.
@@nghiatuan3388 reshade.me/ just install it on your pc then open it and choose the game exe, choose the microsoft DX 10,11,12 option and then the packages you want to install. As long as you dont activate them they dont influence perfomance, so you could even install all packages. I think i will do a guide soon for Reshade in general, since i got a lot of viewers asking about it
install reshade, it can completely visually overhaul your games on PC with minimal performance impact. Koei games are especially washed out looking, so i especially like using it on them. Would you think a video tutorial for using reshade would be a good idea?
Who else is here because they're stuck in the tutorial unable to do a counter attack? The timing + distance in order to execute a counter is a mystery to me. Edit: glitch happened where i launched a needed enemy beyond bounds and now i have to start over. 😂
Wow, uou are still playing the game? I've played all the DWarriors games but this one makes no sense. Riding from battle to battle without purpose, the terrain has no influence as you can jump above every walls, the grinding makes no sense as the officers harem... Respect man.
Yep, I am just enjoying the actual combat itself. The game has a bunch of flaws, but that doesnt mean that you can't have fun with it. I find it really refreshing to play with all of the dynasty warriors cast, with a new combat system. Instead of always using the same attacks, like DW6-8 Warriors Orochi and so on.
The problem lies with the players, most people can't stop themselves from ride at their horses all the time and running to the mountains, personally I'm not interested in horses they just make it cooler. I'll play it with my own rules like, don't run up the mountain even if you can because in all the old games you almost couldn't do that (I'll find a more interesting way to go), only ride on flat ground, don't waste time with Soldiers and only focus on taking down large targets, use bows and arrows on officers and generals, don't use reaction features but just regular Guard and combos Usually like previous games, use favorite characters and weapons instead of the most OP ones (Like I'll let Lu Bu use swords and clubs instead of his weapons), if the character's strength If they become too strong, I will find a way to completely reduce their power to balance.
Thanks for this guide. The game makes a lot more sense now.
I'll definitely give it a second try thx to you :)
Still a bit confused on the reactive attacks. How do I counter/assult?

I am using Reshade, its easy to install and can enhance nearly every PC games visuals greatly.
