I personally disagree... While world does have less content and monsters have less hp you actually get hit. Adept and Brave will always make Gen and XX a joke in terms of difficulty. It's a blast to play though.
Not to mention I can walk in circles while shooting and never get hit if im not being aggressive. You must not realize just because you dont get hit some of the time with bushi doesnt mean its easy if you cant even counter aim.

Easy because of the playerbase imo. A easier game is more friendly and open to new players. Im pretty sure g rank wont do anything crazy if hr is already like it is.

Yes, monsters will hit harder and have more HP, but weapons and armor will scale to G rank too, so everything will just even out again. Given how World is right now, all that will change with G rank is how much damage you do and how many skills you can cram in a set. Fights will still end up being flinch/stagger fests and the broken mantles will continue to be broken.
Yes this is really a monster 5 years ago in mh timeline. Giant explosion thing will just be a super move most likely which you can probably negate with breaking certain parts just like bazel.

Other stats on armor is weakness exploit 3, atk boost 4, max might 3, and rath mastery 2. Which of the 2 options do you think would be better? I tested times but they seemed roughly the same. This is for lbg

What is it that makes it harder? I’ve never used ranged weapons in previous titles so don’t know. You have adept and absolute readiness as a trade off of no moving and shooting, so I don’t see a big difference.
Ra It isn't really all that hard. Gunning in Gen and XX is much easier than previous games yet not hilariously easy like in World. I gunned through all of LR and most of HR in Gen and Adept style got to be such a crutch that I got horribly stomped when I went back to 4U.

Hypothetically, if Raging Brachydios was in MHW, you probably could have finished this quest in 3 or 4 minutes (assuming of course that Raging Brachydios in MHW were to follow the trend of enemies having less HP in MHW compared to previous games). I know a lot of people would not like that, but I personally prefer it that way. Few things turn me off in action games than enemies with too much HP, especially if those enemies don't flinch or stagger often, as is the case with Raging Brachydios here. I mean, in this video alone, Raging Brachydios doesn't flinch until 0:59. In MHW, you constantly hit a monster in the weakest spot and it would flinch after 5-6 seconds. I'm not dissing your skills here, but I honestly got bored of watching this video after a couple of minutes. It's just boring watching the stationary design of bowguns in older MH games compared to the aggressive, mobile and in-your-face playstyle that MHW promotes with its bowguns. For me, being able to move and shoot makes bowgunning so much more fun.
Meanwhile it takes weeks or months to learn how to properly use bushi lbg while strafe takes literally 0 secs and anyone can do it. Ignorance is one hell of a drug.

How do you manage to play this in Japanese? I went out of my way to buy a 3ds from Japan and MHXX but I feel like I can’t play solely because of the language barrier. Google translate is spotty and learning katakana hasn’t helped me.
Alexieyy M All the symbols and what not that any mh game has makes most of it fairly easy. You just have to memorize skills and a few other things. Also theres plenty of online resources. My first jp MH so I had to learn it all.

Use whichever you prefer or test in training grounds to see which is highest dps.

I blame it on the fact that bowguns got such a massive mobility quality of life and nothing to counter act it.
Let's be real, bushido/adept gunning with absolute readiness is just as low effort as strafe gunning in MH world.

Mai LBG I just think armor crafting to get skills you want would be a problem for me.
