Do you have any questions about tuning with an app that I didn't cover? 🤔 Or maybe a suggestion on another method for tuning your guitar you'd like me to break down? 🎸 Let me know in the comments, and thanks for watching! 🦋💕
Thanks! I've subscribed and can't wait to play Good Day Sunshine. Two weeks into this instrument. Acoustic Guitar, 6 string steel. Today, I decided it would be great for me to use random online tuners to play rest-stroke, strumming, pick. All techniques practiced with the tuners will use up/down strokes, with emphasis on tempo and mental connect a dot with sound and location of notes origin. Thank You for this fantastic video.
It happened that I was on the very flat side mood lately. So I wanted to tune my mood, to get a little more sharp. So I tried many strings, and honestly didn't find the right color. I even checked in my auto that I had a manual gearbox, it didn't really help. However I'm glad, Ellen, that you always give me something to play with 😂😂😂
Aww I'm sorry to hear you've been feeling flat lately! Hopefully now that your guitar is in tune, you can play through some songs to feel more positive! 🤗💕
Good review! I also had a good laugh. On the E string, if you don't have a good ear, the recommendation should haven been - "Stop right right there and go and learn how to play chess vs. how to play a guitar!".
😂 Although it definitely helps to be able to hear the difference in tones naturally, it's something you can train your ear to do also! 💪 (Just might take longer and feel frustrating.) Thanks for watching! 💕
So frustrating coz I found this app just now. I had my acoustic guitar class A not that genuine but still do any good. I sold it kinda fire sale coz I thought there is a problem with the loose tuning peg. When I saw the guitar with the new owner, I'm so sad coz I thought it is a new guitar. It sounds very fine and crisp. And to add to my frustration is when he said that he just barely know how to play guitar. The adjusting thing has been relied sole to guitar tuning app
E.C., I have been using Guitar Tuna for three years and this the first I heard about the tap the screen for a tone feature. Thanks 👍 But I didn't get how the app helps keep me from breaking a string while tuning. 🤔
This was mainly aimed at the beginners, but I've been reading a lot of comments on my Beginner Series of people using the Guitar Tuna app and snapping a string while tuning! 🙈 When I asked further about it, it seems like the reason is because they were in "Auto" mode where the app is guessing which string you're trying to tune and they had severely out of tune guitars. 🎸 So when they were plucking at a string to tune it, the app was trying to tune it up to a different string than they meant, and it would result in them breaking from winding them too tightly. 😩 So I wanted to make sure people knew to turn the "Auto" mode off when tuning a really out of tune guitar to avoid it! 🤗 So I guess it's not the app that helps you prevent string breakage, but more like the knowledge of how to use the app properly. 👍
Hiii ☺️I'm a beginner in playing guitar but I'm not sure what strings to buy because I'm using a used guitar and I'm not sure if I should use nylon or steel ?? Please help 😭😭
Well I can only advise you on the guitars I have experience with, but the Donner DST series guitars are very good from what I can tell, and you can get them on Amazon for under $400! Here's an affiliate link I have with them: amzn.to/3xLIK8x You could also try any of the Squier electric models. I have the Classic Vibe which is a little over $400, but not by too much. 🤗 Beyond that, I would recommend going into a guitar shop if you can and ask to try out some of the models you like and see which one plays the best for you personally. 🎸 Good luck!
Hi! I’m a beginner who’s trying to tune her first guitar. For some reason, all the strings are in tune however, the D string won’t get in tune even though my tuning peg won’t turn anymore lol. The app (guitartuna) keeps saying to tune up but the peg is at its peak. Help!!!
There's a few things that could be happening (at least from my experience). You should check them before you keep trying to tune in case it's ruining your guitar! 🙈 1. Are you sure the string is actually winding when you turn the tuning peg? Sometimes the gears in the peg can slip so the string isn't actually being tightened/loosened. Watch closely at the hole in the post to see if it's turning. 2. How old is your D string? Definitely check if it's unwinding on itself. If so, it's probably gonna snap soon! 3. If you just restrung your guitar, it's possible the little knob at the end of the D string hasn't settled yet and isn't "caught" on the bridge pin. So as you're tuning and tightening the string, it's getting closer to settling but just hasn't yet. 4. Keep an eye on your bridge pin for your D string. It may be winding tighter as you tune it, but it's not getting in tune because the string is digging into the wooden bridge of your guitar. (You might be hearing a crunching sound if this is the case.) Take the pin out and check if there's any wear and tear near the hole where the bridge pin goes. I hope this helps! 🤞🏼

Hiii ☺️I'm a beginner in playing guitar but I'm not sure what strings to buy because I'm using a used guitar and I'm not sure if I should use nylon or steel ?? Please help 😭😭
Usually nylon strings are used for classical guitars. Do you know which kind you have? 🤔
@for3v3rfaithful I googled it and it's a acoustic guitar, so what strings would I suggest ?🤷♀️
Hello, can you suggest me an electric guitar under $ 400 .to play like Metallica ?

Thank you!!
Love how everyone uses guitar tuna lmao
I mean, it must be most downloaded for a reason right? 🤗
Does it matter what guitar string is used? (Nylon classic)
You can use these apps to tune any 6 string guitar, regardless of whether you have steel or nylon strings. 🤗
@@for3v3rfaithful Thank you for the reply.
tysm ilove u you helped me so much!
I'm so glad you find my videos helpful! 🥰 Thanks for watching them! 🙏💕
I want to get an automatic tuner…but they are out of my price range right now 😂
Good thing these apps are free! 🙌 Plus learning how to tune your guitar by hand is a good skill to have. 🤗

Hmm.. My Guitar Tuna app suddenly needs me to pay for it...... Anyone else finding this?
🤔 It should be free to use for standard tuning... Are you sure you can't "x" out of the pop-up?
Brazil music
not accurate to drop c tune
you are not even showing how to exit from the subscription, you just rush ..
I point to the “x” to close the ad with a yellow arrow at 0:44 👍🏼 But I understand your frustration because the app makes it really hard to see!
slow down, its not a race ... I can't even understand you most of the time!
Thank you so much 🙏
Tq so much 😁
