Aways enjoy the reviews and seeing how they stack up inside. That's a good point you made on the ground wire that wasn't there. Some day I need to get a proper station for detailed soldering jobs the old Weller dose the job but a little to big for delicate solder joints.
I bought a TOAUTO DS90 Soldering Station off of Amazon. Not a really good station but for the little soldering I do it's okay. The Temperature Control is very erratic. But what do you expect from a $55.00 soldering station!!

Did you think of swooping the hand pieces? One seemed larger than the other so it might better in the larger holder built into the base station.
I tried one of the hand pieces in my KSGER station and it was not compatible. But I did switch to my other stand holder and that worked better.

It's like every other tool from China, you have to take it apart and rebuild before use. I always replace hair-thin wires with beefier ones.
