Oh my goodness! Thank you for reminding me …….. I need to thank you for the inside of packaging idea for tiles way way back when!! Full disclosure is that I use them constantly. I just pulled one out of a friend’s recycling bin because I liked the grey interior. Grey seems a little harder to find but white, beige, tanner than beige, dark beige…….I’ve got them all, in Phi, circle, Bijou, regular, hexagon…. Just one of the many pearls of wisdom you’ve shared over the years. See why I missed you so much!!
Great job Cyndee!! ❤❤Back in October 2020 when I found Zentangle through mention of it in a “cozy mystery” ebook, it was a sanity saver. Then I found you and your 3 years of 100daysofZentangle videos. Wow! You were one of the real pioneers of Utube videos and I hope those videos stay up for years to come to encourage anyone and everyone that has ever considered thinking of drawing, and never thought they could do it. I so appreciate the fact that “life” gets in the way of a lot of things, and I sure hope your health holds up to enable you to do what I know you love to do. God bless you for all the encouraging that you do, and the struggles you fight.❤❤
Cyndee, thanks for keeping it real.. I lead a class at a recovery center, arts and crafts just for relaxation and fun. Many times my ladies struggle with the 'perfect' lines and i explain that when the design is done your eye will never see that wiggle. If its too obvious i show them how to embellish or mask it. They are soo impressed when they have this complex intricate design and did it themselves. I have inexpensive blank card sets and we do our designs on them instead of tiles. The christmas cards we made last year...they sent and for some it was the first time they made contact with family in a long time. So i just want you to know you're having a lasting impact on our lives. Thank you❤
I love how you narrate your thought process. I have learned untold art strategies and it is delightful fun. most importantly I learn about flipping the narrative (about art and life) by listening to your self talk as you return to your true north again and again of “no mistakes” Zentangle, finding opportunities no matter the circumstances, showing how to persevere through difficult or unwanted circumstances and making the best of what is without judgement. As I learn and apply these strategies to my art, my own inner dialogue shifts to a no mistakes mentality with my shaky lines and other life challenges and circumstances. Thank you for so honestly and vulnerably sharing your journey. You are a beacon of hope and strength, gracefully showing us how and that we can life our best lives as artists and humans. I continue to draw and sing! along with peace, joy and tremendous gratitude. 💚💚
Very pretty. I always think tangles look better with flaws or unevenness (which, as a beginner, I have a lot of.) If I want to be extra cautious, I sketch in pencil first. It’s an extra step, but takes the pressure off!
Lovely Cyndee, I love your wobbles. I have wobbles, probably more from not having the years of practice that I'm now working on. You keep reminding us to slow down, and I notice that whenever I slow down, I don't wobble as much. Like, a deep breath before I make a curved line really really helps. I think your videos are so helpful, and I'm sorry that you struggle with them a bit.
I shake due to my fibromyalgia and some meds I have to take for other conditions. I'm not getting any younger either. Turned 50 last month. Not that I think that is old at all...just that I'm too damn young to feel this damn old. LOL I think you did just great. Your shakes didn't show in your work at all to me.
❤❤❤awesome ❤❤thank you❤❤❤

Wonderful! 💜 don't worry I will be fine!
This video showed me cardboard! I feel my shakes aren't as bad because of the grab..I never thought of cereal boxes lol..Thanks!
lol sometimes I am full of ideas! remember to label when you take the box 😂 it is annoying to family!
Hello..I'm old and have MS..lol but I just tell everyone that my shakes add "spice" that they won't get anywhere else! LOL
that's perfect!💜
