Oh my goodness! I totally LOVE your "ghost" tangle. THAT is a "real" organic tangle!!!! And without a lot of effort, it can have uniform-ish interstices that almost look like flames and tear-drops (almost like a meta-tangle?). You have just made my day. You're awesome!

Hey, super cute ideas there girl. How fun would it be to design a children’s book illustration of just different tangles? I’m thinking of all the really fun wacky ones, do you know what I mean?
Also, I wanted to add I love looking at your sketchbooks They’re a lot of fun maybe someday you could do a sketch book tour and show us some of your other ideas of the way you’ve done tangles, it’s very inspiring.
I knew you were going to revisit Mr Bill as soon I heard you say “oh no!” In that voice. I always felt bad for the little guy!
You were far more inspired by this “ tangle “ than I was. The Halloween angle didn’t really help me either but I’m glad it got others here more into it. I am so ready for some big flowery tangle! Or something with long swoopy lines even! I will say your version at least gave it something interesting to look at. You almost pull something out of your tangling hat 🎩🧡🖤
