Man oh man. Studio Orange just never disappoint. This episode might just be one of the best episodes I've seen in anime. I've never watched the original Trigun so this is my first introduction to Millions Knives and boy was it a great introduction. The scene with him walking up to the PLANT was just pure badassery. I'm so excited to see more of him.
Huge fan of this adaptation so far. Stampede's Knives feels more accurate to the manga. I also like how they're not afraid to get dark and gory. I can't wait to see my man Wolfwood again!!!
Something I don’t care for is vash needing so much help. I like the show so far but man in the original nothing even tested vash until the later gung ho guns. You always got the feeling vash was always in control and had a plan.
Given July is still standing and Knives' talk about the gate, as well as Vash's current bounty being a tenth of it's original... I think we're gonna see something change there. That said, the original anime really played down the power and importance of the Guns, who are much better developed in the manga--Knives, Legato, and Wolfwood included.
