Hello again! I am completely overwhelmed with the support and welcome from my first video. This update was filmed before I ever uploaded my WIP parade. I am so grateful and thankful to all those who viewed, liked, commented, and/or subscribed. I appreciate each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart. My main goal was to reach out and connect with other stitchers and I think I can call that a success! I hope you all enjoy this update video. Hi Jill! So glad you joined flosstube! I enjoyed watching your wip parade and your May plans. I also love to stitch animals and floral designs, but I guess I like to stitch whatever catches my eye at the time. I'm very much a process stitcher as well. I'm glad you are feeling better, and your stitching bug has returned!

I think we have a similar mindset with sourcing linen and so I wanted to recommend looking up yarntree too. It's bulk quantities, so like a yard. But when I need raw linen that's where I go and then just use the piece for lots of projects. Thanks for being so open about depression and medication too, I'm all too familiar with that world. 💙

Hi Jill. I know first hand how debilitating depression can be. I’ve been suffering since 1993. I now know that medication is the best way for me. I went and checked Box & Fox after your first video. I love the designs so much. I want to do one of the florals. Looking forward to seeing your next video.

They are so much fun and beautiful! It was a very quick kitting up process for me too. I just needed a quick trip to Michael’s for the missing floss, haha!

Hi Jill, thanks for sharing your WIP’s, haul, stash and life. I too am very frugal and try to figure out ways to do my favorite past time without spending a fortune. I haven’t figured out the whole Facebook de-stash thing yet.
I have a question. In your first video you talked about getting patterns out of cross stitch magazines that are on Libby. How do you get a version you can put on your device to work from or a printable version? I’ve tried a few things but they don’t come out clear enough to work from. Could you please explain how you do it please?

It’s the not the best quality, I’ll admit but I use my iPad and take a screenshot and work off of the photo. Thankfully I don’t choose too complicated charts. Sorry I don’t have a better answer for you but the largest screen you have to use the better. I have a friend who gets Libby on their computer and that seems to work for them.
