This 'level' of hotel suite is normally aimed at people who literally would not notice 10k per night as a notable expense. You're essentially paying for that last little bit of convenience and space the hotel can provide to give you a more 'temporary home-ish' feeling and doing so at a huge premium because the types of people who want that tend to be incredibly wealthy. They tend to be very insensitive to the price so the 2x or more bump from the next level doesn't mean much to them if they get a bit nicer of an experience. The goal as I understand it is to make traveling very convenient and just 'normal' like you shouldn't really be having that 'hotel experience' it's just a smaller living space that you still get waited on (because at home *of course* you would too) and still have everything looked after for you
It feels like this was built as a long term living situation that turned into a hotel room, as a luxury apartment it isn’t that bad but as a hotel room it’s pretty bad
That seems like a nice $450/night room that uses pointless, expensive-looking name brands (Fiji water, Balenciaga robes, etc) to warrant their extreme price gouging.
This is so true though. No joke, I went to Mexico a year ago and got the most expensive hotel and it was an absolute nightmare. No fridge in the room, room was freaking hot, service wasn’t good, walls were thin, you had to pay for breakfast etc etc. Skipping to a year later, a couple days ago I went to the exact same area BUT I got the cheap hotel right next to the expensive one. The service was great, had a fridge inside, huge conditioner/shampoo/body wash containers (not tiny travel containers) Breakfast was free and actually really fancy! Sure, the expensive hotel had a pool with a bridge over it and a cool water fall thingy. But I’d take the cheap hotel over THAT in a heartbeat I’ve learned that price doesn’t necessarily mean anything when it comes to hotels.
It’s almost a blessing that Charlie doesn’t get “dressed up” like this too often. He’s attractive enough that it’s an actual distraction, and all he did was put on blue jeans.
@@SportsTalkElitist My recommendation if you want to tie your hair all the way: Don't worry about it being super slick and neat. Too slicked back can look goofy, and if you've got a section of hair that won't behave then it'll appear more obvious. Try keeping it loose and "messy," and see how that suits you. Also, as RedGoggles said, we are our worst critic and chances are good that while you might feel dorky, there are people out there that are going to think you're hot af with your hair tied back all the way.
There’s a hotel here in Brisbane called the Emporium Hotel Southbank where you can book a room called the Frangipani suite for a bit over $2000 and you get a mini bar and a frickin piano!! That room is very overpriced.

Love the analog style edits in this one lol, really makes me feel like I'm watching professional hotel reviewers (?) idk but yeah that room is not anywhere nearly worth 10k a night
I stayed a night in a penthouse suite in downtown Chicago and it was 1,200 a night with two bedrooms two bathrooms and a full kitchen and living room. 10,000 is outrageous for what you got there.
A multi-millionaire spending $10k on a room, is proportional to a guy earning $70k spending $100. People have to understand that high earners don't care about $10k. Also, these these rooms are frequently booked for executives paid for by corporations . Another common way is for people to use points or get a upgrade from the hotel.
05:40 ... seriously, those personalized cookie confections were a nice touch. Obviously for ten grand they should be doing things like that, but if they didn't, you would never have thought about it. Now, if you ever go to another ten G+/night hotel and there AREN'T personalized anythings you will think about THIS hotel and take points away from the next hotel that doesn't personalize the in-room greeting. That they were confections should have been +1.5 easy.
from the hotel's POV the 10k pays for the appliances alone. it's only nice, nothing less, nothing more. it's impossible to stay there alone yet they try to make it seem like it's made for one person, two at max

For $10000 I would’ve expected a private pool/ hot tub and now having to share a pool with the rest of the hotel
This reads like an AI comment
"You're not just paying for the room, you're paying for the experience."
The experience: 20:24

5:02 The disappointed "ugh" after hearing backgammon is in the mystery box was everything.
wayy to fancy for a floridian we need crocodiles etc etc
It feels like this was built as a long term living situation that turned into a hotel room, as a luxury apartment it isn’t that bad but as a hotel room it’s pretty bad
If you could get in this hotel with a fake name you could make your money back and more by walking out with all the kitchen appliances.
The service was great, had a fridge inside, huge conditioner/shampoo/body wash containers (not tiny travel containers)
Breakfast was free and actually really fancy!
Sure, the expensive hotel had a pool with a bridge over it and a cool water fall thingy. But I’d take the cheap hotel over THAT in a heartbeat
I’ve learned that price doesn’t necessarily mean anything when it comes to hotels.
“a photoshoot that has 300 dresses” a wedding, matt. the closet space is for a wedding party. 🤣
21:07 why can’t they just cuddle like real men
I think they should kiss to just show us how they are real bros
It’s almost a blessing that Charlie doesn’t get “dressed up” like this too often. He’s attractive enough that it’s an actual distraction, and all he did was put on blue jeans.
Matt coming out joyous and well rested was the icing on the cake. 😂
Ok
charlie's return to acting with his role as Nicepool really shows in this one
Van Milder
Charlie is ryan Reynolds
"The Proposal"
Really nice how Matt took his son Charlie to a fricken million dollar hotel.

Omg that would be the funnest video ever!
Mr Charles Jr looks so stylish with his hair tied up like that. Guys with long hair tied back is peak.
Half up half down tied up yeah. If it’s all the way tied up it looks ehh. At least on me anyways, I look dorky as hell with a ponytail I feel like
@@SportsTalkElitist we all think we look dorky with our hair full up, but it’s always fire
Charlie: Laughs when Matt proposes a quick game of chess

Charlie walking around in a black tee and gold chain, chompin on chips while casually dropping a 10k hotel room review is unironically baller as hell.

They probably don't sell it much, just use it as an upgrade for the top tier loyalty status visitors
There’s a hotel here in Brisbane called the Emporium Hotel Southbank where you can book a room called the Frangipani suite for a bit over $2000 and you get a mini bar and a frickin piano!! That room is very overpriced.

You can rent an entire classic free play arcade by my house, for 4 hours, for $350. So thats nearly 5 days, 24 hours straight for the same price. And the floor is probably just as comfortable to sleep on as those couches.

that place looks like when i make a fancy house in the sims. gotta have a chess board and brushed copper features.
The shot with Charlie standing in his robe will live in my memory until my dying day . . . Yes, I have no life.

It was very impactful!
It's funny and also speaks to how humble Charlie is that he considers wearing a black tee, jeans, a chain, and two antennas as "dressing up"

The closet with too much space is better than one with not enough space. Having a closet with not enough space would be horrible for most.
Also, this suite is named the way it is for a reason. IF you were a president, you need all that room. If you are a billionaire you will need all that room. 10k a night is nothin.
@@libertybelllocks7476ig if you dont care about money its pretty easy to overcharge
Love the analog style edits in this one lol, really makes me feel like I'm watching professional hotel reviewers (?) idk but yeah that room is not anywhere nearly worth 10k a night
Charlie being fancy is jeans and a chain and a ponytail. Charlie is a man of the people.
No way in hell would you catch me owning any appliance named "Smeg" lmao.
Because you are poor.
Smegma is only for the rich.
Smegma
I stayed a night in a penthouse suite in downtown Chicago and it was 1,200 a night with two bedrooms two bathrooms and a full kitchen and living room. 10,000 is outrageous for what you got there.
A multi-millionaire spending $10k on a room, is proportional to a guy earning $70k spending $100. People have to understand that high earners don't care about $10k. Also, these these rooms are frequently booked for executives paid for by corporations . Another common way is for people to use points or get a upgrade from the hotel.
He's also going to make it back in Adsense with the video, so you can also look at like an investment.
Yea but if you have that money, is that the type of hotel room you are staying in?
@@Bpinator Prolly not that exact one, but yes if I had that money I would stay in places similar when I could.
@@Bpinator you're right. probably not. airbnb would be better.
That's not really the point though is it? It's the fact that it is extremely underwhelming for that price point.

There are a lot of outside vids, my favourite one is the French fries one
20:24 is the one the greatest shots ever lmao🤣 the look on Charlie's face is priceless
05:40 ... seriously, those personalized cookie confections were a nice touch.
I absolutely lost it at Charlie's wavering "Lil Boys Mornin".
The charleston got all gussied up for the hotel , very demure very mindful

The thing is, we don’t often have people like Charlie pay full price for these suites. We typically give these to VIPs or group contacts at discounted rates. The full price rate is always inflated to an outrageous degree but we don’t sell it often lol.
I really like the execution and premise of this new series! Hopefully next time you guys can get something nice to really be excited about, like a hot tub or a in suite bowling alley.
I’m happy you & the crew had some fun and shared some laughs together.
