It is so cool to see Bill leading GC and being an integral part of MCC's evolution. I helped build the blue and whiet FCR's and remember the original MOCR's well. Onward and upward!

I'm trying to compile a list of the control rooms and the missions they supported/support. MOCR 2 is the historic Apollo room that has been restored to Apollo era tech. I've also toured White, which is a backup/trainer for ISS and will be where Orion is controlled from, but whatever happened to MOCR 1 and the blue FCR. Is Blue the current ISS FCR?

It will be interesting to see the new control rooms fully operational.

In case you don't know: the word regularly inaudible in the subtitles is FCR - flight control room, pronounced like Flickr but without the L :-)

Looks great, and way past due! This modernization will make a big difference, once it's all dialed in and everyone involved is used to it. I have NO doubt there'll be a learning curve, considering that some of the technology was 20 years old.

    sweet, hardware upgrades =D
what about monitors under a glass table, so you don't need 2 "floors" of monitors, just one in front of you, and some more under the glass table, so you can see it. If they aren't touch, woudn't be a problem!!

4:26 One thing I'll never understand is why people so interested in space (at least in the US) seem to be so fixated on the flag of an arbitrary political subdivision of the old home planet. I bet people born on the moon or Mars will look back on the flag-worship as outdated provincial thinking.
