My big thanks to DCE and Ben Hunt for leading the younger ones by examples from the level of seniorities you have at origin level.

Lomax was pretty good in a well beaten team, that try he scored was strange, Lomax was the only one contesting the ball, in the end, easy.

NSW will be desperate, they'll pick Moses and Latrell Mitchell for next game. Perhaps starch up their bench, they'll need to, their bench in first game was woefully exposed.
As A true Blue , that's some effort from the QLD'ers. DCE and Ben Hunt will be playing in their late 40's with form like this. Absolutely incredible. Respect from the UK. Come on the Blues.

Honestly though NSW are far from the "perennial favourites" QLD have been been leading origin wins ever since Origin started.
NSW are always the favs on the odds which is what I was referring too cause this first game was surprisingly showing QLD as the favourite amongst all betting sites which is a rare thing to see.

Cobbo is another player to take care off by the player you may choose to defend him and to stop him roaming around to score for the maroons. Mareta.
The damage is done when Hunt scores the first Queensland of 6 to just only 2 NSW tries.
It was a sign of things to come for Queensland to the detriment of NSW.
Queensland has too much talents to choose from.
Gotta give the NQ Cowboys one thing. They give QLD so many good players. Holmes, Nanai, Taulagi, Cotter, Dearden and former Cowboy Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow.

NSW have a new award for team performance, its called the "NICHO". Its awarded for the worst performer in the team.
Bit harsh. There were some pretty ordinary players out there, and the defence was atrocious. I'd expect a few changes. Totally outclassed.
@@martinpye549 Nicho Hynes must be the worst performer going from club to state level. He missed crucial tackles last year in only 5 minutes of game time, and he missed 6 crucial tackles the other night. What's wrong with him?

It's really unfair having 12 against 13 at a big stage ...it's origin,let it be..
BS no one complained when it was 13 v 12 and NSW was 2 in front with 7 mins to go. That sin binning was the biggest piece of BS I've ever seen in Origin. Anyway QLD cored twice 12 V 13.
