My Costco in Montreal just got these today. I loaded up and bought about 50 of them for friends who I know wanted some as well as myself. Allegedly, someone right after me spend over 5,000$ and bought the entire inventory that was left. I got the CLK GTR, 488, 458 Speciale, Divo, 69 Charger RT, Diablo SV, Sian, and I'm missing one or two more. They were 20$ CAD, so approx 16 USD. Years ago, in 2013 or 14, I remember seeing them for 12.95 and only buying two because I didn't think these were rare stockings. I now see the LP670 models selling for 300$ on local classified sites, when I skipped out on a few of them at 13$... it is what it is.
Wow!! You got ALOT! That is awesome!! Which is your favorite? Those will be perfect to add to your collection I bet. And you've seen those LP670s go up in price?!
@@MHMotors1 Some very particular models are fetching hundreds of dollars here. Most are 50-80$, since there's nowhere else in the country we can really get these unless we get them from the USA, but shipping and duty fees alone rocket the cost way too high.
@@MazzaFiveOneFour oh wow I can't imagine shipping from out of country, I haven't done that before. I've heard it can get very pricey too. Have you found any online for good prices?
@@MHMotors1 not for us Canadians. For Americans, there's a few good websites. For Canadians, nothing that makes sense.
Back during the height of covid, I was in Japan and bought a bunch of RWB autoart Porsches from the RWB boutique, and even took a train all the way to Kashiwa to see the RWB garage and had my autoart boxes signed. I listed them for curiousity, and a website owner messaged me and told me he has buyers lined up and I can ask 2,500$ per box easy, as he sells the 250$ models at 599$ all day long. People buy it apparently, so I don't blame them! Still today, I kept all my RWB Porsches in their signed box, but that's crazy to hear that it would sell for that much.
This is cool that there is Maisto cars sold at your Costco, my Costco stopped selling them way back in 2016, it had a whole entire tower of Maisto cars.
Your store didnt get any this year?
Its sad that in US those models are $15 each, in my country, those same cars can go from $30 to $50

@@MHMotors1 Its great and not the best at the same time they have lots of different cars and types of cars but they sure don't have a lot of them might be gone pretty quickly but the price cant beat that 14.99 Fred Myers across the road from our Costco sells diecast model cars for 24 to over 60 dollars just wish they ordered some more of them
@@tylorevans the price is the best anywhere for the Maistos. But I'm sure you could find some good prices on the resale market too.
Was really hoping my costco would have them in last Friday but they lady there said they were a tad late this year. She said that they should be in within 2 weeks. My costco seems to have a mixture of old and new so hopefully I can find a Diablo SV, 06 Challenger, 69 Charger, and maybe a murcielago

@@MHMotors1 well I was hoping to but for some reason THEY'RE STILL NOT IN!! Lol. Hopefully they'll be in this week. Now I think I'd rather have the red Ford GT instead of the murcielago.
@@connorreagon2746 oh keep an eye out! The murci is an older model which could make it more rare to find in future years, keep that in mind.

This is way different than what my Costco had, I live in MD and they had a green Porsche 4.0, red divo, no clk gtr, red and blue Sian, and no fxxk, probably other stuff but looked completely different
That's a good point. I wonder if certain locations tweak their supply slightly. I'm definitely looking for that green Porsche 4.0. I'm gonna be going to a Costco here in Illinois this week to check.

Well my local Costco finally got their supply. I’m finally happy because I was saving for them. Was gonna get at least 3. And all I see when I go are Broncos, few Mercedes clks , One Lamborghini vision gran turismo. So pretty easy to choose. Topless bronco and the rest

I couldn't find the 1968 mustang GT cobra jet at my costco in Henderson!! gotta go to another Costco I Guess!! They should do a better display... So hard to find them!!

It’s almost Christmas now… and I don’t see any in my Costco at canada. Well I guess no more Masito for now. Where did you find them?
It seemed like it was a short supply this year. I get mine around the beginning to middle of September when they first start hitting Costco. They also get to Sam's Club around every July.

@@MHMotors1 yes, I was laughing because with the Bronco, you notice it first, then you go away, then you come back and say: yet another Bronco ahah. and same thing for the CLK, you exchage it from your cart, then say : yet another yellow CLK (the one that was in your cart... sorry it's not *that funny, but I find it funny anyway. -- must be not very obvious when holding a cam...)
@@davidbeaulieu1305 oh yea, you never fully know what you're gonna find lol and then digging through the rows, another one might pop up. And yea you're right, it sometimes is tough making sure the camera is centered while trying to look at what cars are there, talking about the cars, and at the same time moving them around to find the next one. But it's fun, and hope you enjoyed it!

Is Maisto Japanese made or are they made in China? I assume China for $15 but a nice entry level to start a collection or a under the tree for the kiddo's
The boxes do say "made in China", but you're right, perfect entry level and some models even have way more detailing than expected for that price range. Thanks for the comment!

@@MHMotors1 I checked my local Costco, nothing, they had other toys but not model cars, either they ran out or haven’t gotten a shipment yet.
@@bradleymeyer9775 they may have ran out of their initial supply. Keep checking every week or so through out the next couple months and maybe you'll catch a restock!

Thanks for the comment! Costco stocks Maistos every year starting around beginning of September... although their supply usually deminishes as it gets towards the holidays. That is what I've seen over these past years.

Thanks for the comment! Where are you from? I agree, unless you find these during the few weeks the store has them, they are more expensive online. These stores only get them a select couple times per year and they usually sell out within a few weeks (at least the more popular models).
