I was wondering why you visited Hefei, and I got my answer. I like Hefei, but it's not somewhere tourists would go. But you're no tourist. I was told by a friend in Hefei "There are 2 things you never see here, aliens and foreigners." I'm pretty sure it went from 3 to 2 hours is stopping less. Like going between Shanghai and Hangzhou can take like 1.5hrs, but if you get a non-stop train, it takes like 30-40min. Did they preserve any room/part of the prison as a little museum?

Foreigners are certainly far and few between… in comparison to other cities in China. To my knowledge the structures are preserved but I don’t believe there are any rooms / cells as they were. Hello Luke.I hope you and Cindy are both Ok now after that darn virus.Hefei city looks pretty nice.I am amazed by these huge public areas and the enormous parks and streets.The whole place gives you a piece of calm and warmth.Maybe my only problem of living there would be the chinese food.Pretty light for my tastes mate.🤣I really enjoyed the video.Cheers from 43 degrees Athens.🥵🥵🥵

Yeah Parks and large open areas are a big thing in China… I suspect that’s possibly because they primarily live in apartments and don’t have their own gardens… unless filthy rich haha! Yeah the food is a challenge for me due to coeliacs but I wouldn’t say the taste is light… Authentic Chinese food is very flavorsome with a range of spice levels… the Chinese we get in the west is nothing compared to it. 43! All the newer developed city have better planning for open space, especialy keep the water front open with nature, have better leving environment but the income is lower.

Majority of my friends are open minded and are interested in visiting China, some already have been there. Then Ofcourse some have no interest… but that’s their choice. @@LukeCrisp Ha-ha, you have come to the right place, Chinese TCM can treat allergy symptoms by taking Chinese medicine or acupuncture, you can try ask your local friends that the hospital is famous for TCM and then pay a visit, maybe it will be effective for foreigners.😊😊😊
@@Oldbrow I am not sure it can treat for Coeliacs disease my friend 😆 this is a genetic condition which is not generally found in Chinese people but I appreciate the concern! Quite happy and have plenty of food over here in Australia 😊

Actually living in 2 tier city the cost of living is very cheap more importantly It’s more relaxing.

About 15 years ago, they tore up the city to renovate. Everywhere was dusty. Now it is so nice.
