We have had Charli (now Norii) for almost 3 weeks now in WA state. She has been such a great girl. Potty trained and sleeping through the night like a little angel. So far she has loved the rainy weather, and we can’t wait to see her in the snow! ❤❤❤
Saying goodbye is the hardest part of fostering, but you’ve given them the most amazing start to their lives, and now they get to go and be with forever families that we know will continue to love them with that Joey-level care for the rest of their dog days. I’m so happy for them, but of course sad that you have to say goodbye to your babies. It’s so hard.

Such a beautiful puppy family- you took great care of them! FYI- Cats typically don't drink enough water. It is good to give them some wet food along with their kibble for hydration. The absolute best thing you can do is to buy bone broth that is for cats and dogs, warm it up a little and add it to her kibble for at least 1 meal a day- same for the dogs. Bone broth has great nutrients for their coats and overall health.
Honestly that Petlibro feeder and drinker is so smart, because we all know cats will not eat food if its beside their water source ( as back in the day, cats will not drink fromwater that their food was killed by due to water contamination, so its in their genes), as this seperates their food and water and tracks the amount they ate and drink is SO SMART! Gotta get them!
those babies were so precious and very enjoyable little bundles of love and energy but... at times not so much... the messes and hijinks that comes with puppies is a little overwhelming .... its so bittersweet to see them go but everyone also knows they are getting a loving home with one on one love that they need ...u r only 1 person and spreading urself thin doesnt help the pups in any way other than to get along with other pups and share the love ....my brother has a great pyrenes/husky mix and he wants to breed her and i keep telling him noo! no u dont!!! the messes that those huge puppies and a lot of them (b/c his dog is huge) would make will make u wish u hadnt done it and they are going to need lots of money to feed them etc... i keep telling him u need to watch joey graceffa vlogs on his foster pups b/c its insane what hard work goes into those pups and the constant messes they make b/c what goes in must come out lol anyways i think i have talked him out of it for now ...plus there's lots of dogs that need homes and making more pups to find more homes is not helpful ... but thanks for ur vlogs joey u really show us the good , bad and ugly sides of being a furbaby foster !!! ur love, time, and dedication has really touched my heart all the way in Oklahoma and opened my eyes to what is really a humbling perspective to fostering furbabies ...
Fostering is an emotional rollercoaster when you have to part ways! BUT........these babies will be going to their Forever Families and it gives both rescues and foster parents room to save another Soul 💕
Good for you, Joey, putting Sakura back on wet food! Dry kibble foods are very high in carbohydrates (even ones advertised as grain-free), and it's horrible for their health if they're prone to diabetes... as many cats are. We have a diabetic boy, and it's amazing how much lower his blood sugar is eating nothing but Fancy Feast pate wet foods! And yes, for cats of all health, it's a very good way for them to get the moisture they need! ❤
Yes! Watched Jackson Galaxy and learned that kibbles is like candy and can be used as treats. My cat doesn't eat "human" food (ham, sausage, fish, cheese etc) so I try to give her both kibbles and wet food.
I rescued a tuxedo male kitten 6 month ago. He's 1 yr old now. We've tried so many different can foods but he will not eat any .I am feeding him iams kibble urinary health now and he loves it. Hope it keeps crystals etc away. The outside stray cats love can food lol.

It's been about 2 years now, and my diabetic boy gets pate for his meals and freeze-dried chicken for treats. Our non-diabetic gets pate meals and regular treats during the day (we call it his "McDonalds". 😄) If you're able to manage a half and half mix of dry kibble and wet food, that's better than not much, or no wet food at all. If you didn't cut dry food out completely, that's something I would just watch during yearly vet visits -- getting their blood glucose checked along with their regular blood tests, just to make sure it stays in a normal range. I have the testing equipment here at home and test our diabetic myself at least twice daily, so I periodically check our other boy as well. His blood glucose has remained normal.☺

To me, huskies are the cutest doggies on earth. We grew up with several! They were always the biggest joy right down to the way the always "talk" to you! With cats most get their hydration and water in-take through wet wood. Giving them just dry food can cause problems with them going to the bathroom. If they have dry food they should be drinking a lot more which is something to be mindful of. Dogs are the same. They need dry and wet food. Puppies are so cute!

I’m going to miss the babies sooo much, especially when Mr. B leaves for his forever home! 🥺🐶 Also, that cat feeder looks amazing! My 2 senior cats only eat soft food and will check it out! 😻

About the wet cat food: Cats are "desert" creatures, so they don't really have the instinct to drink much, because they would get enough moisture from their prey. So this is a pretty neat solution. My cats are on vet grade dry food only but I have a cat fountain in almost every room. The sound of running water seems to entice them to drink. They are very hydrated kitties.
I’ve just started using a water fountain for my two male cats, one of them was getting dandruff which means he wasn’t drinking enough. This water fountain they absolutely LOVE and will sit drinking for like 5 minutes + sometimes!!
As usual the puppies are still as adorable as ever I hope all the people who adopt the adorable puppies will give them all the love attention and care that they deserve and they never are forced to be given up by their new owners
My cats drink much more water now that I found a fountain they love. It needed to have a wider basin with a spout that comes out close to the water. Fresh filtered water every day.

My cat does the same with her wet food. She snacks through the day. Tried when she was a kitten to have meal time but she didn't get it. So I buy portioned food (80g) and give her every other day. Special urinary health food is a tip. Keep the water a bit away from the food. Cat have hairballs so they have to get them out, so cleaning puke comes with the deal. There are treats and cat grass that can help with that. A lot of pets and kisses also help 😂
For my oldest cat, before he started drinking water from the bowl, we would put a little water in the dry food and let it soak for five minutes before giving it to him.
They do typically sponser the neuter/spay and it's written in the adoption papers that the people have to neuter/spay at a specific age. These puppies are WAY too young for neuter/spay.
My two cat eat wet food 3 times a day. They eat sheba. I order a big pack from amazon.. Then they have dry food "applaws" and its free all day/night. They prefer wet food more then dry food. They are inside cats. I let the wet food for 1-2 hours on the day. One the night i let it stay over the night.
Cats and dogs need to eat wet food and raw meat as it’s healthier for them, raw meat especially because it’s fresh and has more protein than cannned and dried food (dry food is actually really bad for them, no protein and nothing but grains which are not good for them) and raw food has taurine which cats and dogs need to keep their bodies and coats healthy and shiny. Running water is actually the best for cats and dogs, hence the reason they drink out the toilet or the sink.
I love watching your puppy fostering videos but I always worry when I see you letting them chew on your hands. Best thing to do is to “yipe!” And pull away. They learn quickly not to bite.

To piggyback off your talk about wet cat food: Cats get their hydration from running water and wet food. They don't like stagnant water. Cats can get crystals in their urine from dehydration. Which causes them to pee blood, a UTI, kidney problems, etc

I use some wet food for a before bed snack for my babies. They love it. Also, it's no big deal to call poison control. One I overdosed on a painkiller because I had tow different pain meds. One you took one pill and the other two. So I got it mixed up and took two of the pills when I was only supposed to take one. I felt super weird, a little dizzy, and out of it. When I called poison control the man said it was most likely because the pills contained caffeine, and later on I was fine.
Love your cat looks like my cat Mr Kitt silver Harris. He got really sick and we had to put him to sleep He wouldn't eat or drink and he was having a hard time breathing. I really miss my baby Mr Kitt silver Harris every day

@carmenortiz5563 As a 15 year master certified groomer and veterinary technician, agreed. The fact that they have consistently supported bathing a dog in DAWN instead of giving actual veterinary flea preventatives shows a massive lack of education and professionalism. Sadly, the majority of rescues I have worked with over 4 clinics in my life have been questionable like this. I'm not sure if it's lack of resources, lack of education, or lack of willingness.
These Husky pups are actually too young to be spayed/neutered. There is a growing consensus that the timing of spaying/neutering puppies should be dependent on the size of the breed, with the goal of decreasing the risk of specific health problems, such as orthopedic issues and certain cancers. According to the American Kennel Club, toy & small breeds generally can be spayed/neutered at about 6-9 months, while larger & giant breeds should be done later on, at about 12-18 months.
@ It’s illegal for a rescue or shelter to adopt an animal without it being spayed/neutered first regardless of age. So i’m wondering how Wagmor goes about the adoption processes with out of state adoptions?
I'm pretty sure that Joey says in this video that he was taking Charli for her/his final shot and deworming so it does appear they do make an effort to have them up-to-date on their shots. Microchipping sounds like a good idea...do you know for certain that Wagmore doesn't do that? As for spaying/neutering, they are still too young, based on the latest recommendations for larger breeds, like Huskies. Waiting until they are about 12-18 months old before getting them spayed/neutered is viewed as optimal because doing so apparently lowers the risk for developing certain health issues.
Sorry for your loss I know how you must feel since I lost my sweet adorable little chihuahua terrier mix named Chiquita very recently even though it was due to old age and not any kind of health disease
You need to give both dry and wet food to your cat but it’s important to use the right dry and wet food. What type of dry food or wet food depends on the cat and the breed. For example my cat is a Burmese. She can’t have dry food or snacks that contain grains. (If it’s a cat that gains weight fast then buy things that says “no grains” on the packaging.) The wet food needs to be the best quality because if it’s not she will get sick. She also can’t have cold wet food or she will throw up. This is common with this breed so you literally need to know what the breed can or can’t have and then also look how your cat reacts to certain foods and also their personal preferences. But cats their bowl with dry food should always be filled up whenever it’s empty or almost empty. Don’t put wet food in the same bowl that already has dry food in it but if you do then throw that dry food away!! Give half of wet food in the morning and the other half in the evening unless your breed can have more than half but my Burmese cat can only have two halfs of wet food a day.

My cat was the same way with wet food. She's a VERY picky girl when it comes to her foods freshness. MUST be fresh wet food or she wont eat it.

To piggyback off your talk about wet cat food: Cats get their hydration from running water and wet food. They don't like stagnant water.
Cats can get crystals in their urine from dehydration. Which causes them to pee blood, a UTI, kidney problems, etc

I use some wet food for a before bed snack for my babies. They love it. Also, it's no big deal to call poison control. One I overdosed on a painkiller because I had tow different pain meds. One you took one pill and the other two. So I got it mixed up and took two of the pills when I was only supposed to take one. I felt super weird, a little dizzy, and out of it. When I called poison control the man said it was most likely because the pills contained caffeine, and later on I was fine.
It's a bittersweet moment :')

Not fully vaccinated, microchipped, or spayed/neutered. I don’t know how Wagmore goes about their adoption process especially out of state. It seems suspicious and i have so many questions.
@carmenortiz5563 As a 15 year master certified groomer and veterinary technician, agreed. The fact that they have consistently supported bathing a dog in DAWN instead of giving actual veterinary flea preventatives shows a massive lack of education and professionalism. Sadly, the majority of rescues I have worked with over 4 clinics in my life have been questionable like this. I'm not sure if it's lack of resources, lack of education, or lack of willingness.
These Husky pups are actually too young to be spayed/neutered. There is a growing consensus that the timing of spaying/neutering puppies should be dependent on the size of the breed, with the goal of decreasing the risk of specific health problems, such as orthopedic issues and certain cancers. According to the American Kennel Club, toy & small breeds generally can be spayed/neutered at about 6-9 months, while larger & giant breeds should be done later on, at about 12-18 months.
@ It’s illegal for a rescue or shelter to adopt an animal without it being spayed/neutered first regardless of age. So i’m wondering how Wagmor goes about the adoption processes with out of state adoptions?
I'm pretty sure that Joey says in this video that he was taking Charli for her/his final shot and deworming so it does appear they do make an effort to have them up-to-date on their shots. Microchipping sounds like a good idea...do you know for certain that Wagmore doesn't do that? As for spaying/neutering, they are still too young, based on the latest recommendations for larger breeds, like Huskies. Waiting until they are about 12-18 months old before getting them spayed/neutered is viewed as optimal because doing so apparently lowers the risk for developing certain health issues.
Pls go and check with your doctor. Dont do guessing work! Make an appointment

my cat died from diabetes. The vet blamed dry food. Cats need wet food.

You need to give both dry and wet food to your cat but it’s important to use the right dry and wet food. What type of dry food or wet food depends on the cat and the breed.
For example my cat is a Burmese. She can’t have dry food or snacks that contain grains. (If it’s a cat that gains weight fast then buy things that says “no grains” on the packaging.)
The wet food needs to be the best quality because if it’s not she will get sick. She also can’t have cold wet food or she will throw up. This is common with this breed so you literally need to know what the breed can or can’t have and then also look how your cat reacts to certain foods and also their personal preferences.
But cats their bowl with dry food should always be filled up whenever it’s empty or almost empty.
Don’t put wet food in the same bowl that already has dry food in it but if you do then throw that dry food away!!
Give half of wet food in the morning and the other half in the evening unless your breed can have more than half but my Burmese cat can only have two halfs of wet food a day.
