I really like how simple and basic these new DFs in this chapter, it feels like Oda preserved these ideas for each of these villains, giving these abilities somewhat of a OG power vibes.
My assumption is that since the Blackbeard pirates have been collecting and stealing devil fruits they have literally personally selected the best ability for each member
It also fits that Blackbeard planned ahead on what his team's devil fruit abilities are; Making them fit his crewmates. Luffy on the otherhand doesn't even give a shit on how you fight, he just gets people on his crew without thinking. It's basically how Luffy ate a fruit he thought was desert and Blackbeard was actively searching for the strongest fruit.
Oda is really speeding things up now. This might also be the perfect setup to reveal how exactly Blackbeards body is "different" than others. Who better than Law to figure that out!
Man the warp warp fruit is crazy powerful for a sniper. Not only can you warp your self but fire a bullet and immidiatly warp the bullet to the target.

I feel this chapter confirms to me that Jinbei is fighting Burgess because they are now not just helmsman vs helmsman or karate vs wresting but strength vs skill and discipline vs exaggeration. It just feels right now

I think Aokiji kidnapped Pudding together with someone else from the Blackbeard Pirates because they want her ability to read ponyglyphs. Even further more now that we see Blackbeard targeting Law for his prints.
Why kidnap her when beheading by Catarena Devon could grant the same potential ability for reading poneglyphs? I think Aokiji froze people in place, Catarena beheads pudding & can now transform into a clone of Pudding, member of the Three-Eye tribe.

They are meant to clash with each other at any moment, specially the closer they get to Laugh Tale. There's also the fact that the WG wants to capture them and will send their best marines. For example, people think Luffy is having an easy time now, but his main enemy in this arc seems to be the WG (aka an admiral, CP0, etc)

When you think about it, right after his plans didn't workout against Hancock, he did not stop planning new moves. Blackbeard's might is his cunningness and adaptable nature so he isn't constrained to a single train of thought. Unlike the other Worst Generation Members, he even is continuing his Devil Fruit hunt while having a secondary plan to translate the ponyglyphs set-up. The dude skipped promotions for years on his crew just to avoid catching attention to steal a Devil Fruit that he started with. Some people may say oh if this were 1 v 1 or etc but as we know Pirates don't follow rules and Blackbeard likes his enhanced Swarms.
The moment i first felt intimidated by the blackbeard pirates was when Moria came storming onto fullalead island then got a hard reality check in the join us or die offer. I love how whacky the latest chapters are. Serious but funny, Law is going up against a yonko riding a doctor who's riding a pegasus which might be actually a human that prefers to be a horse. Those devil fruits that the Blackbeard pirates have will make for some interesting confrontations for the Strawhats.
Just a thought, but wouldn't it be fitting for Shiryu to be the one who kidnapped Pudding with Aokiji's help? The only thing I can see would be the island they teleported on already has a separate group or individual on it, or even to introduce a new face into the series. I'm thinking potentially Urouge since we have just got Bonney. It would be interesting to find out where Lafitte, Avalo Pizzaro and Sanjuan Wolf are.

I'd just like to point out that the robes Kuma is wearing in the brief scene of young Bonnie being held up by him looks like the kind of robes we've seen Revolutionary Army members wearing before. Dragon was wearing a similar robe when he arrived at Loguetown and stopped Smoker attacking Luffy. I know it's just a robe so it could be nothing, but it is something to consider seeing as Kuma has ties to the Revolutionary Army.
Stronger with the Pegasus fruit is kinda cool, lol imagine his hybrid form his just stronger but has 6 legs. Also if Strong Haki can straight up nullify the effects of devil fruits or at least paramecia powers does that mean if Shanks or Kaido got hit by Magellans poison they have don't get affected. Yeah only way I see Law surviving would be if a 3rd party joins like Weevil or Blackbeard sees the Red Force/Shanks coming from the coast and books it or the Cross guild just decides to show up

Law is too smart to allow a second chance at a devil fruit, I doubt BB would logically do that But one piece has sus writing sometimes (but makes it work) so that may happen

I feel like Van Augurs fruits limitation is sight... which, considering he's a sniper, which also generally wants him to have good, far sight, definitely very fitting. For what it's worth, considering how they spoke, I don't think they've been on that island before, so the limitation of the fruit is probably not linked to the user having been somewhere. Also, I have to admit, I was somewhat suprised by how well the members of Kaidos crew seem to be working together, like, they're all pretty strong personalities, you'd expect them to be more like "it's my way or no way", clashing more than actually supporting each other willingly... but they actually do seem to work together very well. As for Blackbeard vs Law... I don't think Law is going to die, not like this at least, and for what it's worth, Blackbeard doesn't seem to be after the Op-Op-Fruit, only the Poneglyph-rubbings. In that case, it might be that he has to leave Law alive at least long enough for him to give him the rubbings after Blackbeard fought him into submission. After that, Blackbeard might not even care enough anymore to finish Law off, he got what he wanted after all, and he'd have the impression that Law isn't going to be an obstacle to him as he was able to overpower him before. If Law does however die here... I feel like it'd turn out somewhat similar to Cobra, which should've been a super emotional death, but on one hand due to being offscreened (which would probably not be the case with Law), but also due to us not getting the immediate reaction of any character we actually care about, like the Strawhats or other major characters like Law or Sabo, it falls a bit flat, there's no drama to it.
i would love a series of Tekking videos about the different cover story serials! there might be some fun theories and foreshadowing, like how the cover stories hinted at Sabo before he showed up in the story!

What if Stronger is actually human that is always in his horse form. Maybe the reason is because Doc Q is always sick and cant move by himself so Stronger has to carry him and it's much easier to do it in his horse form so he doesnt change back.
Yep it’s all coming together. LAW, KOBY, BLACKBEARD, THE ROCKY PORT INCIDENT WAS THE CATAPULT OF IT ALL. Also, law being able to easily throw off the effects of the sick sick fruit makes sense since although he has no strong haki, he is a doctor and can combine that with his haki to cure the disease.

While tekking assumes wrath is there to test durability, I think the point of wrath is weapon manufacturing, like her gauntlets. After all, she wants to break things so she'll make things that break stuff as effectively as possible.
I think Laffites sudden appearance at Castle Pangea could be the first instance of Van Augur's teleportation power furthermore it could mean that before joining Blackbeards crew perhaps Van Augur was a knight of god working in Mariejois.

Interesting How Law ,Blackbeard and Koby have all had focus these past chapters and were all involved in the Rocky port incident, which Law is credited as the mastermind, and Koby as the Hero
I just noticed something about the Blackbeard and Law encounter another reviewer stated about Blackbeards character. Blackbeard is a opportunist and wants to be king of the pirates the quickest and easiest way. Which is why he is hunting devil fruits to make his men stronger as that is the quickest path and as Law pointed out before leaving Wano, he chose his sea route because it was the shortest way to the next island. Which screwed him in the end because Blackbeard probably also knew this and was waiting. Though you have to give him respect in that he gambled on the the three captains defeating Kaido and Big Mom. Of everyone in One Piece I feel that he is the only one who does NOT underestimate Luffy. He believed he could get to Sky Island (which is why he tried to fight him before he could leave), he could make to Marine Ford, and now he believed he could defeat Kaido. I feel when the two finally clash the reason Luffy will win is Haki and Blackbeard overestimating himself.

I love how Jinbei just rolls with all the goofy stuff that happens around him. He’s perfectly content to hang back until Luffy’s braincell needs some help.
I really like how simple and basic these new DFs in this chapter, it feels like Oda preserved these ideas for each of these villains, giving these abilities somewhat of a OG power vibes.

My assumption is that since the Blackbeard pirates have been collecting and stealing devil fruits they have literally personally selected the best ability for each member
It also fits that Blackbeard planned ahead on what his team's devil fruit abilities are; Making them fit his crewmates.
Luffy on the otherhand doesn't even give a shit on how you fight, he just gets people on his crew without thinking.
It's basically how Luffy ate a fruit he thought was desert and Blackbeard was actively searching for the strongest fruit.
Simple and basic? Buff-buff, sure, but the warp fruit has a bunch of questions and the sick fruit seems like an anything-goes mass person effector.
Oda is really speeding things up now. This might also be the perfect setup to reveal how exactly Blackbeards body is "different" than others. Who better than Law to figure that out!

They are meant to clash with each other at any moment, specially the closer they get to Laugh Tale. There's also the fact that the WG wants to capture them and will send their best marines. For example, people think Luffy is having an easy time now, but his main enemy in this arc seems to be the WG (aka an admiral, CP0, etc)
I've never been intimidated by the Blackbeard pirates. They just look so stupid and incompetent. This chapter made me realize just how dangerous Blackbeard's Crew is.

When you think about it, right after his plans didn't workout against Hancock, he did not stop planning new moves. Blackbeard's might is his cunningness and adaptable nature so he isn't constrained to a single train of thought. Unlike the other Worst Generation Members, he even is continuing his Devil Fruit hunt while having a secondary plan to translate the ponyglyphs set-up. The dude skipped promotions for years on his crew just to avoid catching attention to steal a Devil Fruit that he started with. Some people may say oh if this were 1 v 1 or etc but as we know Pirates don't follow rules and Blackbeard likes his enhanced Swarms.
The moment i first felt intimidated by the blackbeard pirates was when Moria came storming onto fullalead island then got a hard reality check in the join us or die offer.

2 - Van Augur teleported Burgess from the middle of the ocean to that island in an instant.

I'd just like to point out that the robes Kuma is wearing in the brief scene of young Bonnie being held up by him looks like the kind of robes we've seen Revolutionary Army members wearing before. Dragon was wearing a similar robe when he arrived at Loguetown and stopped Smoker attacking Luffy. I know it's just a robe so it could be nothing, but it is something to consider seeing as Kuma has ties to the Revolutionary Army.
Stronger with the Pegasus fruit is kinda cool, lol imagine his hybrid form his just stronger but has 6 legs. Also if Strong Haki can straight up nullify the effects of devil fruits or at least paramecia powers does that mean if Shanks or Kaido got hit by Magellans poison they have don't get affected. I know Law is a fan favorite but I wouldn't mind him drowning in the ocean, you know what I just want to see a devil fruit user drown in the ocean come on Oda if not Law have Law kill at least one or two of Blackbeard's crew by drowning.
I feel like Van Augurs fruits limitation is sight... which, considering he's a sniper, which also generally wants him to have good, far sight, definitely very fitting. For what it's worth, considering how they spoke, I don't think they've been on that island before, so the limitation of the fruit is probably not linked to the user having been somewhere.
Also, I have to admit, I was somewhat suprised by how well the members of Kaidos crew seem to be working together, like, they're all pretty strong personalities, you'd expect them to be more like "it's my way or no way", clashing more than actually supporting each other willingly... but they actually do seem to work together very well.
As for Blackbeard vs Law... I don't think Law is going to die, not like this at least, and for what it's worth, Blackbeard doesn't seem to be after the Op-Op-Fruit, only the Poneglyph-rubbings. In that case, it might be that he has to leave Law alive at least long enough for him to give him the rubbings after Blackbeard fought him into submission. After that, Blackbeard might not even care enough anymore to finish Law off, he got what he wanted after all, and he'd have the impression that Law isn't going to be an obstacle to him as he was able to overpower him before. If Law does however die here... I feel like it'd turn out somewhat similar to Cobra, which should've been a super emotional death, but on one hand due to being offscreened (which would probably not be the case with Law), but also due to us not getting the immediate reaction of any character we actually care about, like the Strawhats or other major characters like Law or Sabo, it falls a bit flat, there's no drama to it.

The first Superhero comic strip was Hugo Hercules, it's debut was in 1902 in the Chicago Tribune. He possessed super strength and that's it. My favorite strip is one where he punts a house like a football because he missed the actual ball. Then he somehow holds up the house so it doesn't crash land.
What if Stronger is actually human that is always in his horse form. Maybe the reason is because Doc Q is always sick and cant move by himself so Stronger has to carry him and it's much easier to do it in his horse form so he doesnt change back.

Yep it’s all coming together. LAW, KOBY, BLACKBEARD, THE ROCKY PORT INCIDENT WAS THE CATAPULT OF IT ALL. Also, law being able to easily throw off the effects of the sick sick fruit makes sense since although he has no strong haki, he is a doctor and can combine that with his haki to cure the disease.

Interesting How Law ,Blackbeard and Koby have all had focus these past chapters and were all involved in the Rocky port incident, which Law is credited as the mastermind, and Koby as the Hero
I just noticed something about the Blackbeard and Law encounter another reviewer stated about Blackbeards character. Blackbeard is a opportunist and wants to be king of the pirates the quickest and easiest way. Which is why he is hunting devil fruits to make his men stronger as that is the quickest path and as Law pointed out before leaving Wano, he chose his sea route because it was the shortest way to the next island. Which screwed him in the end because Blackbeard probably also knew this and was waiting. Though you have to give him respect in that he gambled on the the three captains defeating Kaido and Big Mom. Of everyone in One Piece I feel that he is the only one who does NOT underestimate Luffy. He believed he could get to Sky Island (which is why he tried to fight him before he could leave), he could make to Marine Ford, and now he believed he could defeat Kaido. I feel when the two finally clash the reason Luffy will win is Haki and Blackbeard overestimating himself.
Blackbeards only weakness seems to be his arrogance. If he wasn't arrogant he'd be alot stronger than he actually is .
