- In this video we will discuss how to simplify logarithms when we have different bases. We can't apply logarithmic properties unless we get the base to be the same first.

Evaluate using multiple logarithmic properties - th-cam.com/video/il97omC0azs/w-d-xo.html
This is exactly what I needed 😊
we can also write log base 6 8 as log base 2 8/log base 2 6 then the numerator and denominator will get cut and we will be left with log base 2 8=3
💎 Very Good and Please Don’t Be an Idiot, and Keep It Up and Keep Practicin’ 💎ًًً
After he cancels the ln 6’s and is left with ln 8/ln 2, can’t we just use the change of base formula again to go back to log (base 2) 8 = 3???
Crystal clear, thank you! I am a self-learner so you are officially my teacher. Also, love the new... transparent board?
I like the videos but dude is a little long winded, get to the problem.
Excellent teaching sir 🤝🏻
Please talk slower.
Please talk slower because you're very difficult to understand.
slow it down if u can’t comprehend what he’s saying
Incredible explanation!
Amazing!!!! Now logs are starting to make a whole lot of sense.
Thanks man!
A quick note over here :-
According to the video, not all the information given is true. In particular, it is not always true that you can only apply the properties of logarithms when the bases are the same.
The video argues that you can use the change of base formula even when the bases are not the same. The change of base formula states that log
a
(b)=
log
x
(a)
log
x
(b)
, where a , b , and x are any positive numbers and a
=1 , b
=1.
wtf
Straight to the point. Thank you, Sir!
Thanks
Can someone please explain why the answer would not be 4? can ln(8) not be divided by ln(2)?
You can’t divide log and ln like integers
We can't divide the 8 by 2? To simplify? Thanks
no bro, this is not just division of numbers. log div. differs
