They should sue the popo for using their authority to impede upon his free speech a clear violation of his first amendment right of free speech and a clear over reach of their supposed authority.
The popo have said that any shop that takes more than a half hour to build is not a pop up shop. You should build a giant shop that takes a long time to build but looks exactly like a giant pop-up shop. Malicious compliance is fun
13:04 I think you might be able to convince Xisuma to join, since he had problems with them recently. And also Joel, who got almost no diamonds from his permits. Doc might be opposed, considering he needs it in order to be able to sell things for sand.
100% agree with X. He has already been using malicious complience on them since the start! Him building TWO illegal shops are good examples. Also, Zed sounded interested last episode.
Recruit Etho, malicious compliance sounds like the kind of prank that Etho would do and Pearl is kind of like a neutral party as she was harassed by both sides in some way.
"You gotta tear down every propaganda poster." Notice how he didn't say you had to destroy them. Take them down and then give them to someone else they're causing grief for.
His upcoming spaghetti monster of a mangrove farm should get him back in the running, once he's in the full swing of being full time. Scar is old school. He's judging by his guts. Harder to argue against. Skizz is demanding detailed criteria and offering the benefit of the doubt and trying to be politically agile. Harder to not feel bad about all your dogs rending him asunder.
That whole interaction in the shopping district was so fun... Commerce! Violence! Comically excessive amounts of dogs!! Escaping death via elytra! Random comments from onlookers! Ohh it's just like being back in S7 when Xisuma did some sort of last stand and it turned into a whole battle thing. I think it was for Cleo's headgames? Anyway this was fantastic, the dogs spawning in while on fire is such a cool visual. Literal hellhounds let's gooo :D
When you have recruited enough hermits you should form an underground black market. Find a big empty cave near the shopping district, make a secret entrance and put unpermitted shops down there. The return of logfellers! It's great because it means the permits can stay but people who really want to sell a particular thing, like X, can still do so. EDIT: I checked, there is a huge cave directly under the shopping district. The entrance was just outside the front door of Doc's Big Wood. You would only need to put a fake building near there and have the secret entrance leading down into the cave.
The permits are the best thing to happen to the shipping district. I’m glad people can’t sell the same stuff and that people are forced to change their play style. Makes everything more fair and entertaining
Your performance in the first scoot game was the epitome of the support role. Clearing the way, shooting from outside the box to score, and driving with the scoot with very few breeze balls to pass to Joel for the goal!
I'm sure you already have plans and know the hermits better than any of us, lol. That said, I bet XB would join you. He had a whole issue with the POE over honeybottles a while back. Joe loves malicious compliance, and Pearl built the portal as malicious compliance, so you might be able to recruit them, too.
I could see Scute Ball going the way of TCG, with teams building their own stadiums. With your team in blue all I immediately thought of Scutechester City.
SCOOTBALL CHAMPION RIGHT HERE... this was my first time watching anything of Ren's new game and I'm so glad I got to see it from the absolute CHAMPION's pov!! What a great game, thankye for including all that in your episode!
That would truly be in a Hermitcraft spirit, as HC wars truly start in the silliest ways imaginable. *[S6]* Cleo changes a sign to blame a prank to somebody else? _5 episodes in_ and Poultry Man is ranting about futility of peace as two sides build massive bases and get ready for a brutal standoff.
Lol i understand the complaints about the pop up shop removal, but the no permits kinda funny for me, its was distributed based on random, and honestly its on luck, so on the other hands its hermits own luck is to blamed about it hahaha
Well, one complaint could easily be the gerrymandering of how the permits were divided up. They're far from "equal" in their own rankings, and if some work could be done there, an economy with more Hermits happy with their permits making a productive income off of the sweat of their brow and a tolerable amount of cooperation and collaboration could be had for more than like four of these folk. Dividing up the books into at least one more permit should be done; turns out sea pickles should pretty well be its own permit; and the wools and terracottas should be paired up; concrete should be divided up into at least two permits, imo.
At 8:23 Skizz claimed that how long it took to build a shop wasn't a criteria they discussed. If I remember correctly when Cub, Grian, Skizz and Scar had their meeting they agreed that a shop that took 30 minutes to an hour to build was considered a pop up shop, anything beyond that was fine. Skizz lied about that (probably just forgot).
All hermits that got a [ink slip on their pop up shops need to start a class action law suit against Scar (a poe) and Bdoubs (the judge) because their little t shop is a pop up and didn't get pink slipped. The poe said a shop has to have a floor walls and a roof. Plus Scars sand and gravel shops have been out of stock for a long time.
i agree, Jevin's got a great working system here with the dog delivery, and it would help ppl in the less life series to be more covert with their dogs (no more dogs teleporting to them while they're trying to sneak around)
you should make a shop with 2 entrances: a normal entrance and a poe poe entrance. the normal entrance goes straight to the shop, the poe poe entrance takes you down a really long looped tunnel and then to the shop if you want to be more evil then add a maze or parkour i think it’s funnier to inconvenience them than to actually try and kill them
Talk to Pearlscentmoon she is on board with Malicious too. I can see it now. The RETURN OF EVIL IJIVEN AND 5 AM PEARL! Get 5Am Pearl and you are going to freak out Grian, Scar, skizzleman, bdoubleo, Smallishbeans, Zombiecleo and Etho. Get Pearl involved and you basically have an automatic win
There probably need to be tweaks, but I think the permits were one of the best additions this season. It keeps hermits from building the same old shops, and it spreads the wealth. I personally think going back to the wild west would be a step backwards.
I think Pearl might be in on the malicious compliance. xD Idea: replace your boat as it was in the shopping district, make it look exactly the same, but via armor stand magic. So when the Poe Poe try to take it down, they can't mine the blocks!
I'd definitely consider adding False, Cleo, and xB to your rebellion. False as the muscle, Cleo as the planner/orator (sarcasticar) and xB just to cause general mischief.
Pearl’s malicious compliance: Ugly portals. Hermit’s Reactions: Actually I kinda like it. Jev’s malicious compliance: Build a giant airship… This season is just gonna end with a world download full of joke builds built out of spite that the Hermits just shrug and say, “Looks good to me” at.
Cool episode Jev. I like the name and mission statement. IDEA - Build a NOPOE headquarters underneath the POE office, similar to what the Mycelium Resistance did in season 7. Or host meetings in the POE office basement waiting room. I really liked the dog army delivery, great use of game mechanics. Keep up the great content ❤️
I dont know how much of the permit stuff is talked about behind the scenes and how much of it just happens but honestly I always hated that everyone would build the same farms to sell the same things that everyone else had. I enjoy that multiple hermits are not allowed to sale the same items this season as other hermits.
Idea for the new elytra shop: personally I was thinking a giant titanic boat sticking vertically out of the ground and making the ship like a dropper. Where you have to fall and reach the chest/barrel holding the elytra making it so the only way to buy them is to fall, this would be especially annoying for people who have no elytra and ran out. For the annoying part though, I was thinking that you could make multiple of those trapdoor doors that pearl always makes. if you made 5 of them in a row down a long hallway, but switched up where the door goes, like having one door in the middle for one, but on the next one having the door on the left, or even nearer to the ceiling making so people can't just elytra down the hallway, but have to walk and open each and every different door while struggling with not clicking the trapdoors. You could also add honey blocks under the floor to make it sticky, and Joel would be ecstatic for a sale, especially if you recruit him like one of the other comments suggests.
This was one of your best episodes!! I'm so late but I loved your last stand at the shopping district and daaaang your POV was my first of scootball and you were so good at it!! You, Joel, and Xisuma are great together! I'm a couple of weeks behind in the episodes but I sure how a scootball league forms with an official round robin tourney :D Maybe it could be played on a Thursday when most hermits would be on prior to a meeting or something!
I imagine skuteball being more like rugby than football (soccer). The fact that they windcharge each other is like tackling, that if the ball goes over the line the other team gets the ball, ect! I was very entertaining to watch and its a great episode!
I thought you'd build a Ship high up in the air and supply scaffolding. :D Scaffolding broken in the middle of the glas should land roughly there. A sculc sensor, calibrated to dropped items, could activating a system to flush the scaffolding back to the supply chests. Last but not least... Maybe put a sign there that Poe Poe is not allowed to fly up to the shop. ;)
So, when and where are you making the No Poe Black Market? I recommend under X’s base because False lied about one being there, and an actual one there would be hilarious!
Malicious compliance is Pearl’s middle name. Speaking of middle names, the K in Mumbo K. Jumbo stands for “Killsalot”, so those two would be great allys for this. What a fun episode, though.
Jevin, whats gonna stop the hermits from making 5 new copper, lights, glass, etc. If the permits get removed? The permits are a good thing to prevent that from happening
get Xisuma on your side, cuz he built an amazing shop with copper trial items and sold a nice amount and what does the permit office do? Shut it down cuz it doesn't have a permit to sell those items. it has a Vindicator that can summon those annoying devil things, sorry my Minecraft knowledge is evading me at the moment. I don't even think it's a Vindicator, but that's what came into my head. GG at defending your shop and great idea on the "NO POE"! GG!
I honestly like the permits XD I have to side with scar and skizz. I think its a fun twist and has a tinsy bit of order in the chaos that is a "scar storm". lol.
Jevin: hard and drastic stance one one side PoePoe: also hard and drastic stance on a different side. *Pearl pops out from the ether* "Make him build a bigger boat!" Me: Aah the wisdom of the Ether has spoken, the correct response is to absolutely DUNK on that silly dinky little "raft" and force Jevin to build an actual boat.
For the scoot ball game, you can make it a rule that you are never allowed to punch the scoot, thereby eliminating the need for healing it. Each player could start out with a certain number of charges, and around the field set on timers could be dispensers which dispense several wind charges when activated by a pressure plate. This would make each wind charge more valuable and incentivize people to not simply spam, while simultaneously adding the strategy of refilling your win charges or staying in the action
I think the idea is that when the armadillo is rolled up, they take way less damage, so punches are weak enough to not actually do damage. It's hitting it when it's not curled up, like in the water, that creates the incremental damage
@@Yirggzmbit turns out, I was under the mistaken impression from my own experience in the trial Chambers that wind charges didn't do any damage. I looked it up and it turns out they do, so my argument is moot
Jev, your best recruits will be Cleo, Pearl, and Doc. All of them love the malicious compliance way of life, Cleo is sadistic, Pearl is really creative at her malicious compliance, and Doc is basically a supervillain at this point lol. All of them have low opinions of the permit office.
I feel like Jevin could potentially sue the POE for like retaliation or Abuse of Power after they tried to strong arm him into removing his completely harmless posters lol
Malicious compliance is Pearl’s middle name. Speaking of middle names, the K in Mumbo K. Jumbo stands for “Killsalot”, so those two would be great allys for this.
Lol I saw in another video that the Poe Poe took the "raft" on the "purple void" of the shop area, I laughed soooooo hard! To be fair the "raft" was kind of pop-upy, if there was a ship of some sort that wasnt just 12 blocks then they would have classified the shop as a shop and not a pop-up.
Hey iJevin , There got to be story of Civil disorder and then a cult of sorts to bring some members together , then run overall revolution . Then there be general amnesty under Chairman Jevin
Pearl out of nowhere shouting "Build a bigger boat" from afar is the funniest thing ever lol
You should recruit Joel, he barely earns diamonds from his permits and he’s always down for some mischief! Communicate through the mail lol 😭
Joel would be the perfect ally
Yess he would be perfect even tho his traps doesn’t work flawlessly xD
Yessss
joel would definitely love to get mail, at least lol
They should sue the popo for using their authority to impede upon his free speech a clear violation of his first amendment right of free speech and a clear over reach of their supposed authority.

Xisuma: Evening all 😃✨

Yea, i am so glad heh :)

@@NotaroName, but would people buy, if they could get from someone else for diamonds?

pearl chimming in the background is so funny
I wouldn't be too surprised if Jevin ends up rebuilding the massive boat floating above the POE HQ, turns their own base into a mob spawner lol
I spy a Cosmere fan :D
Scar already did that, it's his specialty
The fact that skizz is going around judging everyone’s build is hilarious since he’s definitely done the least out of any hermit in terms of his build

To be fair the "raft" was kind of pop-upy, if there was a ship of some sort that wasnt just 12 blocks then they would have classified the shop as a shop and not a pop-up.
definitely recruit pearl! she's been all about malicious compliance and messing with the permit office since day one
Grian's ,, Oh Skyz Died ( Made me laugh for minutes)
Gonna fight through the internet issues to watch this heart pumping episode
