Yes! Width options can be found in the Style tab within the 'Stroke' settings.

In this tutorial, we switched on the 'Grid' option for our artboard. You can do this by tapping on the '...' button within your document to reveal 'Artboard & Grid' settings!

Oh no! Give it more time! The Pen Tool is tricky but once you get it, it's a fantastic tool to know. In the meantime, you can always replace it with more freehand tools like the Pencil Tool (th-cam.com/video/i0vtjTRwhk8/w-d-xo.html) or the Brush Tool (th-cam.com/video/IT4JNo32P6I/w-d-xo.html)
