Jason just a suggestion put a half wall on the new goat shelter I think it would make it much warmer and dryer for the babies. Most have a heat lamp for them but since you can't I think the half wall would be good. You guys are doing an amazing job.
Love the baby goats. I would use 3M 5200 caulking to seal the edge. I use it below the water line on the 1.7 million dollar yachts we build. Great stuff
Its great that Bin King got back to cover those openings, shows responsibility to their customers. Looking forward to the interior start. The goat shelter will work out fantastically. Love ya'll ❤️
What fantastic parents you both are to all your fur-babies. The care and love you have - going so far as to build a shelter on demand in very cold wet weather - is a testament to you both. Merry Christmas.🎅 Love you guys. Sherry 🥰 🙏 💞 🐐
Years ago, I worked for a drywall company that did medical offices with curved interior walls. We used 1/4" drywall double layered to produce the curves over metal studs. Thin drywall will flex quite a bit before breaking. Just a thought to not lose the esthetics of a round house.
The work on the goat 🐐 Shelter really looks amazing Jason and Danielle love ❤️ from Ohio Irene and god bless and Merry Christmas 🎄🎁 and Happy New Years 2024
Hi Danielle how you doing I hope you're having a wonderful day what's up Jason you're doing okay buddy you guys got a lot of work ahead of you but you don't need to rush just take your time and do a lot of time it's going to cost you more and then it's going to cost you but you do it right so that way you're comfortable all right guys have a great Christmas and God bless you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ we love you Danielle you're so beautiful ❤️😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Hey you guys since that silo is made of metal you better spray foam the heck out of it because you will condensation so bad because difference in heat and cold will cause metal to sweat
Baby goats are so precious. Hope they can find which mom is theirs. A lot of work taking care of the animals in winter. Anxious to see how y’all design the inside of that cold metal bin house. But now for the shelter for the babies. You two work well together!
Awesome little Shelter for Baby Goats 🐐 All you need is a little like bunk floor so their off the ground in case it floods from Rain, they'll be nice & Dry👍👌🤞✌️🙌🙏🇺🇸💟💜✝️🤩🧑🎄🎄❄️🎁🐐
Hey Jason you probably already thought about it but on the inside just a small suggestion build you another floor 6 inches higher and drill holes all through that deck there that way you'll never have water inside your house
That's a great idea! Also, go to the feed store (or somewhere you can buy it in bulk) & get food grade diatomaceous earth (DE) & put it all through that 6in or so area, that way NO BUGS!
Build your shelters so the metal doesn't need to be cut lengthwise. Saves time and less scrap. Frame the roof so you can just stick the loader bucket in the door and pick it up to move it. Post driver is easier on your hands if you forget about the handles and hold it by the tube. Stop buying straw at Tractor Supply and find a local farmer, you'll save money. Those leaves make great bedding, get a good rake. Lastly, get some house trailer tie-downs if you two are planning on living in that bin. Two feet is not much holding it down. That's all I can think of for now. Best regards from Indiana.
Hi Jason and Danielle. Aww those babies are so cute and beautiful. You did awesome with the separate shelter for moms and babies. Glad Bin King came back before the rain, so excited to see what you going to do inside the bin. Have a lovely weekend, and Merry Christmas. Love you both💕💕
We live in San Antonio and gruene,tx, next to New braunsfel has a home made out of a silo. Has been featured in home magazines. Looks awesome for a small living space. I guess it's kind of a yurt living blue print. Babies are so cute. Does Danielle have her dogs still? Merry Christmas
I'd anchor the bin to the deck posts with brackets through the floor anywhere they line up with the bin wall and the floor joists too. Gotta wonder if in a huge wind will those deck boards really hold?
Their white dogs are in this video, theyve been on someday ranch ,but in the video one was laying by them as they was building... Merry Christmas jason and Danielle !!!
Well? How bout building 2x6 walls at the deck edge. Closing the tank in. Then make a kitchen in one corner, a bathroom in another, then have a laundry room. On the last corner have a tool room. This leaves more room on the first floor of the tank. When you plan the loft inside the tank, have a walkout to a deck built over the first floor of the outside of the tank rooms.😎 I would still put guidewires from the top circumference of the tank, 45 degrees and anchor to the ground just to have a safety factor against high winds and provide a metal ground for lightning strikes to keep anyone from being electrocuted.
Great music to another ideal quick build. Love those baby goats and how sweet Danielle talks to them. Love that you are gracious in the planning of the grain build bin. You are gifted Jason and looking forward to the build out in 2024. Stay safe, stay strong. Merry Christmas, May God bless you both with peace and joy.
My wife and I have dreamed of a grain bin house too and are watching your build. Nice goat house. I do see one possible problem. I grew up on a horse ranch and learned that if there is a way for a horse to get cut, or injured on something a colt will find it. I can imagine that kids will be the same way when jumping on the roof of their house if there are any exposed sharp steel edges. Thanks for sharing.
Just wanted to pass along a video of a grain silo turned into home If interested search journey more grain silo converted to a luxury tiny house! I loved that they hit a smaller silo to put their hot tub in. Just thought you might like to see ideas!
Bro I found the best sealer caulk is that gutter seam caulk ( black ) can’t recall the name, not the cheap stuff! That stuff’s amazing for keeping water at bay, also keeps its seal for years way longer than any silicone caulk you can buy!
All outdoor animals, no matter what species, need a windbreak. a small space were they are out of the wind, deeply bedded with straw for its insulating qualities. Dog beds that are cloth will simply get wet and freeze. Deep, dry bedding with a windbreak will get most animals through the toughest winters.
I'm not sure what you are referring to? All the livestock have a shelter (that blocks the wind) with straw for insulation on the ground. Our dogs have dog houses, with straw on the bottom and dog beds on top (that can't get wet because they are in the dog house). That's exactly why we did the deep bedding for our animals
An idea for the bin flooring is rigid foam and a couple inches of self-leveling concrete. If you wanna get fancy and add radiant heat you won't regret it!
Floor plan should be easy, kitchen and living room on the floor with a half bath on one end of the kitchen and a walk-in pantry on the other just to keep it symmetrical, with the bedrooms and full bath upstairs, be nice to have a balcony on the master bedroom, just sayin, and spin the stairs on the outside wall frame the living room, it makes a great entertainment center under it...
My step dad made a plywood box for babies so they could shelter inside out of the wind. The mothers can't get in but babies can come and go. They huddle for warmth.
Jason just a suggestion put a half wall on the new goat shelter I think it would make it much warmer and dryer for the babies. Most have a heat lamp for them but since you can't I think the half wall would be good. You guys are doing an amazing job.
I was thinking the same just as a wind breaker
That was a fast shelter for the babies, they will be warm in there!!!😁❤
Really like the grain silo as a tiny house. Hopefully you'll put in a loft. Great job guys. Steve
Her Packer hat is great.
Instant baby nursery..... They're gonna love it. Hugs
Love the baby goats. I would use 3M 5200 caulking to seal the edge. I use it below the water line on the 1.7 million dollar yachts we build. Great stuff
Cool shelter - good chill zone for the goats !
Awesome job Danielle & Jason! The shelter is perfect for the Mama’s & Babies! Watching for the next Crocker Life to see who had a baby/ babies. 🎄⛄️❄️💜
Its great that Bin King got back to cover those openings, shows responsibility to their customers. Looking forward to the interior start. The goat shelter will work out fantastically. Love ya'll ❤️
When cutting tin a skill saw works good and doesn’t burn the painted edges and for trim a miter saw works great.
Nice shelter for the cute baby goats and thier mamas.
I cant wait to see this tiny house. Thanks for awesome videos
Love the goat shelter!! Mr Hank was so cute checking out to see if you had food!❤❤❤
What fantastic parents you both are to all your fur-babies. The care and love you have - going so far as to build a shelter on demand in very cold wet weather - is a testament to you both. Merry Christmas.🎅

You just made some baby goats very happy guys, i hope that the electric can get in soon brother, take care
Hey ! love the baby Goats wow Hank is still around that cool . hope to see Lambo soon ...
Maybe a tarp draped over the front opening for the to protect from the cold and rain?
The work on the goat 🐐 Shelter really looks amazing Jason and Danielle love ❤️ from Ohio Irene and god bless and Merry Christmas 🎄🎁 and Happy New Years 2024
Your work is never done, keep on keeping on. Can’t wait to see the end of the build.
Babies are sooo cute!
Thanks for sharing! 🙋♀️🇨🇦. 🙏 💜
One way to keep your livestock water from freezing solid. Go buy a cheap basketball from the local discount chain, and float it in the troughs.
howdy..i truly enjoy watching guys work together...
Hello you both love all the animals and puppies to and baby goats
Hey you guys since that silo is made of metal you better spray foam the heck out of it because you will condensation so bad because difference in heat and cold will cause metal to sweat
Lots of hard work and progress. You certainly can build.
Enjoyable video.
Very cute goats.
Jason use the bottom of your tractor bucket push the T post in the ground. Works much faster. And saves the arms.
Baby goats are so precious. Hope they can find which mom is theirs. A lot of work taking care of the animals in winter. Anxious to see how y’all design the inside of that cold metal bin house. But now for the shelter for the babies. You two work well together!
You guys take such good care of your animals! Love the new shelter you whipped up. Has Karen had her babies?
Awesome little Shelter for Baby Goats 🐐 All you need is a little like bunk floor so their off the ground in case it floods from Rain, they'll be nice & Dry👍👌🤞✌️🙌🙏🇺🇸💟💜✝️🤩🧑🎄🎄❄️🎁🐐
Fill a water bottle up with sea salt and put the lid on it and put it into their water bowl and the movement will help keep the water from freezing

I live in bristow okla built my house 20 years ago still building on my 10 acres good luck guys
Jason reverse the blade on your circular saw to cut the tin panels. Goes through like a hot knife through butter
🔥😎👍

YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME LOVE THE GOAT PEN!
That's going to make a beautiful tiny home!
The baby goats are cuties.
Jason Danielle awesome job building another shelter for the goats for the baby goats one project that's all you guys could do one project
I've seen a few of these that have Rv roof sealer on the top , it's a rubber type of roof sealer that's in white and will seal up the top .
So glad you're taking care of the babies. Although I'm not surprised, you always take care of the animals.
Great job on goat shelter. Danielle the baby goat you we're holding is so perious ❤
OU or OSU . I already know Danielle is cool cause she is wearing a Packers cap
I dunno if you have seen it but there’s an attachment for the hammer drill that will cut 1/4” cement board and cut tin.
Their white dogs are in this video, theyve been on someday ranch ,but in the video one was laying by them as they was building... Merry Christmas jason and Danielle !!!

use a skill saw to cut the tin put the blade on backward and cut clean that way
Good morning ❤❤
Place a heat lamp for them.❤
Ohhhh...the babies are all so cute🤗!
You all have skills.
Adding some closed pallets on the ground, gets critters up off and out of the mud. I use them in my chicken pens during rainy season.
Good morning ❤❤

Merry Christmas
Love those baby goats
You’re less than three hours away from the headquarters to Bass Pro Shops in Springfield, MO.
That high door will make a beautiful window to the world. ❤✌😎👍

Now get 5 or 6 more you have a nice size house.❤ I don't know how you're going to insulate it.🍻
I believe they make heated water troughs. Or you can make your own. Makes life a lot easier and you don’t waste water.
Just wanted to pass along a video of a grain silo turned into home
If interested search journey more grain silo converted to a luxury tiny house! I loved that they hit a smaller silo to put their hot tub in. Just thought you might like to see ideas!
I think when the frost line is 2 feet, that means your footer needs to be 4 foot down!
Love you got the babies hooked up !! ❤
Bro I found the best sealer caulk is that gutter seam caulk ( black ) can’t recall the name, not the cheap stuff! That stuff’s amazing for keeping water at bay, also keeps its seal for years way longer than any silicone caulk you can buy!

When they're ready, we would love a baby girl. We also have something for you.
I think i would start with a front door that is easy to get in first
Yep...😎👍
Adorable Lil goats 🥰❤️
Thanks
I can't wait to see it all come together!!
An idea for the bin flooring is rigid foam and a couple inches of self-leveling concrete. If you wanna get fancy and add radiant heat you won't regret it!
Love all your videos 🎉
You have to support the walls with 2x8's. The bin is weak what makes it strong is the grain in side.
Have a Merry Christmas to all the Crockers

jason it needs a floor off the wet ground for them babies to stay dry.
