Love how your journal is setup and has been the most helpful for me on ideas on how to use mine. I'm in the process of setting up my first traveler's notebook. Thanks for posting.
“This is the only planner I use with the exception of this one.” Jenny, me too! This is the only planner I use with the exception of the other three 😂❤
As much as I want to try all the other pretty planners the Traveler's is just so customizable and the perfect size! It's like the perfect blend of a bound book and a rings planner set-up. I love your set up and all your hand lettering!! I need to do more of that next year in my journal.
@@noemyjournals I feel that! I so want to try all the other planners as well. I’m excited to have found a tomoe river TN insert with Sarica Studio. Can’t wait to try it. I think it might add just the right amount of options for me and will help me stay within the TN system!
Loooove this! Jenn - this is such an inspiration for me to start thinking more expansively about how I journal, process my thinking, and capture creative insights that strike my fancy. Thank you ✳
Teri!!! You’re the best. Honestly, you’re the one who inspired me to dive in and make this video. I’m here to talk about journaling (and anything else really) anytime! 🖤🖤
Just found your channel looking for how to “declutter” my planning and journaling from the 100 books I use! Really enjoyed it, definitely interested in seeing similar.
Hi! I just made this short here explaining how I do it. For 3 inserts, it might not align correctly but the more you smoosh it with your hands the better it'll align over time. th-cam.com/users/shortsavD23xmWxpA?si=KF0fzE0FXjK1Cf4w Let me know if you have questions!
What is your favorite journal brand, Jenny? And why? I really like your writing and drawing, so neat and pretty. It is a piece of little art you created!
@@EJ-co3nq Hi! That’s a great question. As of right now, it’s more about the paper and the binding than anything else. I’m trying to decide between MD paper (which is what TN inserts use) and tomoe river paper. It is mostly about how the paper interacts with fountain pens and watercolor! And thank you so much for your kind words and for watching 🖤
@heyjennylee Ahhh I see, very true. I need to look up the paper you mentioned. I am only recently starting to step into the stationary world. I like how you use journaling as a way to process your thoughts and emotions. The fact you are able to keep your writing tidy and neat is something I often struggle with. I used to journal, but I simply just wrote down trivial tasks I finished throughout the day. Eventually it was garbage for me and I threw it away. I can tell that you put effort and heart when journaling, that tells me your caring attitude towards life. And I think I really respect and admire that, a quality I need to learn from.
@@EJ-co3nq If you're just getting started in the stationery world, I recommend grabbing any notebook you can find! When I really got into journaling, specifically bullet journaling, I loved the Leuchtturm 1917 A5 dot grid notebook. The paper is great for almost any pen, and the book lies flat, which is great especially when practicing your handwriting. But honestly-remember that your journal is just for you! You can put anything in there in any style that you want. My early journals are quite messy and disorganized… messy handwriting… but they were still a place that felt like home.
@heyjennylee Thank you very much, Jenny! The notebook looks neat. I like its hard cover. I am currently facing a life/death challenge, and honestly I don't know how much time I have left in the world. Sometimes I wonder what the point is for me to write and keep a journal because I might die in the near future. What is the point of journaling when I know I have a tendency to procrastinate and easy to give up? But after seeing your video, I realize I want to take my life seriously even if I might get to the end of my life sooner than others. Yes, journaling is for us, for us to process, reflect, and dig deeper into our emotions, thoughts, traumas, and core. Thank you for listening, sharing and making the video, Jenny. I hope you and your loved ones live a healthy and stress-minimzed life, and become better versions of yourselves through each passing day. I hope you find yourself soothed, inspired, lifted and grown after journaling. Love your drawings too.
Your debit card number is showing and so is your address and your kid”s name and date of birth you mentioned covering but didn’t. In case you want to re edit and cover.

This was the best TN set up video I’ve watched. Loved the details and realness. Thank you for sharing.

I’m happy TH-cam recommended your video. I can relate on a lot of things. I’m new to Traveler’s Notebook and look forward to more videos.
Welcome to the TN community! I'm glad you enjoyed the video 🖤

Oooh… I'm liking how I could talk more about how minimalism meets planning. Thanks for watching and for your nice comment!
Do you have a video on how to insert booklets inside a travelers notebook? I have 3 booklets + case and it doesn’t aligned correctly. Argh😅 so bulky!
I can absolutely create that video soon. Thanks for requesting!
There are many such on TH-cam.

YES. I'm waiting for my first order through @saricastucio but she makes tomoe river paper inserts for both the regular and passport TN.

What's the pouch on the bottom right corner? Is that a pen case?
