Do any of your peers have visible tattoos on their arms? I have tattoos all over my arms and I feel like it’s frowned upon, do people have to cover them up in medical school?
i know a lot of my peers do, i think it is getting more and more acceptable. you don't have to cover them up in med school as far as classes and group sessions but it may be a bit stricter once you get on rotations and see patients. as far as i have heard no one has had any trouble with tattoos yet!

congrats! tbh the honors program doesn't make a huge difference but would definitely get you more opportunities for faculty connections and research! best of luck to your pre-med journey!

For years I’ve wanted to study medicine. I toured the Chicago museum of medicine at 16. I wanted to be a veterinarian or a medical illustrator at that time. I had a scholarship for Ohio State but instead perused art. My daughter is a doctoral candidate. She and I could put together skeletons of sheep and coyotes from random bones and made a complete skeleton . She became a pediatric nurse. But also majored in art and music. I love your occupational therapy classes. I have self studied a lot about the reproductive system. I’m so glad we have the tools now for the genetic research to prevent birth defects. I work with disabled children and with as much as their mother love their children they do wish their children could live longer and achieve more. Yet I have seen children without legs and feet achieve greatness and at least be happy about the quality of life that they have. I paint with them. Art is not only therapeutic but also communication.

China has perfected the artificial womb which is controversial and I hope we have the care takers of these children when they are released from the womb there are 20,000 of these babies. They will be intelligent they are being educated in the womb science changing humanity for ever. Sc has issued the heart beat law. Which insures no abortion past 6 weeks for any reason. Elon musk sent Sperm to mars if I’m correct but I hope it was not aboard space x. I studied at nasa taking children’s school groups through.
The govt which once worried about over population is once again concerned about zero population growth and the influx of robots which can do human work.

Dream life. That I can never get.
Not true at all! Trust me if you want to be a doctor, there is nothing preventing you from doing so other than your willingness to put in the work. I have seen so many of my peers doubt themselves but really grind to earn their spot as a medical student. There is no such thing as "not smart enough," so believe in your dream and take the steps to make it come true knowing that you can and WILL make it!

Hey I wanted to know have you heard much about the MCG 3+ program? If so would you recommend any student is is applying next year to look into it?
I would love to go here for medical school, but I don't live in the state of Georgia
I don't know too much because they aren't even sure if they will allow my class (Class of 2024) to get that option! But what I can say for sure is that it is very very new and you have to spend at least the next 8-10 years after residency serving in a primary care specialty in rural Georgia. I know they will probably be looking for applicants from rural areas or rural Georgia as students from those areas will know how to serve the population best. But I am sure if you have a passion for that patient demographic and want to do primary care, the program is a great choice to consider for the coming years! Other than that, even current medical students do not know much about the program. Sorry I can't say too much but I hope that helps a little!
