New mic sounds fantastic! Shure are great! I couldn't quite afford the SM7B so I went for the baby brother the MV7X (the one without the USB) and whacked the SM7B's foam on it, it not only looks pretty close but also with a little tweaking sounds pretty close too!
Got to say Shure have pretty much always been my audio equipment company of choice. Quality and performance aside their customer service is on another level. I had a pair of in ear headphones which went kaput 2 weeks before the end of their warranty. Sent them back to be fixed and Shure said they didn’t manufacture that model anymore so gave me the new (more expensive) model for free.
Really good show case of the kit. I have always wondered about open back headohones though as I've only ever used closed back because I like the isolation it gives me. How well do the shure headphones isolate?
As overused as it is, the SM7B is a bloody good mic. It really is overused for a reason. Also, why is it you need the mic input going to both computers at once? Could you not keep voice chat and recording to one PC then just transfer it to the other if needed? Is it just for extra convenience to have it going to both and not worry about that so much?

Sounds phenomenal with the bass rolloff. With my Sennheiser headphones, It sounds like you're in my head

If the Mac only had one 3.5mm port how do you get the Mac to go to the line in and then the line out to mac?
I got a knockoff of your Yamaha mixer and was wondering why it couldn't work with your plan.

Literally a convenience thing. Takes an extra 5-10 mins just to throw in a quick voiceover into an edit otherwise
