I actually can’t tell you how long I’ve scoured the TH-cam’s to try and find someone to help me with this… I HATE this mission… I was so fucking lucky to bag one of the two .. and that was completely by accident walking the trail. Ever since the first one I’ve tried everything. Every hour, the lake, even spooking them from the lake just under the Cheelah hiking village. Hopefully your strategy works and I’m gonna try it this weekend to get the other yote. My God I’ve been stuck on this for so long lol!! Thank you dude.
Same here. I've had play throughs where I was stuck on this mission for ages. I have never found one in a drink zone, so feed zones would be my recommendation to look for. Circling the border at different times of day looking for tracks worked here. Checking those hunting stand areas for zones, then seeing if they pass through the hiking village was the other strategy I was going to work on. Other times I caught them passing through the area by the info poi on the south western edge. Best of luck! Let me know how you do!
Unfortunately this zone doesn't exist in my game. I have one female yote passing through the village around 11am and that's it - no tracks, no calls, no zones anywhere else in the designated area :(
@@LoneKharnivore Ugh, sorry to hear it. I had a similar experience my first playthrough: I got a random female, then couldn't find any others for a long time. I might suggest checking around the hunting structures outside the zone several times a day too, and see if you might be able to call one into the highlighted area (a pain in the butt to do, but I've had it work for me from time to time). Another thing that's worked for me is harvesting coyotes in other areas (especially single animal zones), in an effort to get a new zone to spawn in Cheelah for you. This mission is probably the most frustrating in my opinion to do for the whole map. Gathering as much intel as possible was the key for me. I hope this helps! Going off and doing other missions, then coming back can be helpful too.
Thanks for the reply! I've already checked caller-range outside the area :/ Shooting other coyotes and hoping that they respawn as part of the single female's pack is why I haven't shot her yet, haha. As you say, I think I'll come back to it later. Great video anyway, it's nice to see someone hunting properly.
@@LoneKharnivore Ok, good thinking. On the tougher playthrough, I shot the single coyote as soon I found her (I was new player at the time haha) then had to revisit it occasionally. I finally caught another one moving through the area by the mountain to the south. I didn't have any zones and it was so frustrating. Thanks so much, and I'm glad you enjoyed it! This is my style of hunting; I love it. Cheers!
Hey, you're not alone on that opinion. I've heard that time and time again across most of my guides for Vualez. I like a good challenge, but I've been frustrated more than once on this mission in particular with previous playthroughs. Sometimes there just aren't any zones, and if that's the case, hunting around the map and harvesting other coyotes may cause a respawn in the area, so perhaps try to return and check again later after doing so? I wish there was a magic bullet for this one, but sadly the strategy I used here is the best I know of. Sorry for your frustrations! Taking a break from the mission and returning again later is highly recommended as well.

@@ChesterSylvester it looked very clean thoz. Like it was just a bit of a struggle but not much. I love how much effott you put in.
@@Feeeshgaming Some come easy, some not so much haha I'm having a blast putting these together either way. Cheers!!

Hate hate HATE coyote missions. I was wanting to finish all of the challenges before moving on to another reserve but I think not!

it is so stupid how there aren't any drink zones in the mission area, I'd say that's a bug that needs to be fixed.
Yeah, this one's given me issues time and time again. I don't mind a challenge, but this had me pretty frustrated in the past.
I found one in the lake but after I killed one coyote it disapeared. You guys prob killed the coyote from that drink zone
