Kate IS Shane. Literally nobody else could play her. So I'm glad she got that part because I also cant see anybody playing Alice but Leisha. The casting directors made the right choices, the entire original cast was perfect.
They really are their characters, but some parts aren't them. As Kate says, "I don't understand Shane at all."

Absolutely. You can almost see a bit of everyone in her who would have influenced her through her life. I see moments of Bette and Tina in her, moments of Alice and Shane and even moments of Kit. Whoever cast her got it spot on.

Alice is one of my favorite characters in TV history, Leisha brings so much to the character, and I just love her as a person so much. If y'all love this, her and Kate have an excellent podcast, their chemistry is just unmatched. I would be remiss to not comment on miss Jordan. She was perfectly cast and embodies everything i wanted Angie to be!

The reason they cut it...it rings with authenticity. This show isn't authentic anymore. It's canned. Maybe listen to the cast a bit more. Seems they know something. Just sayin'.
