As a Sri Lankan, I am sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. I don't know how it happened. the people of Pakistan have been as a one of the most favorite nation among the all Sri Lankans. We considered them as our brothers But after the sad incident that happened last year, it must be said that majority of people were afraid of Pakistanis. After that incident, we are all disappointed with Pakistan because your defense minister tried to justify the criminals.
The same thing happened with us as a group of 22 people last year in May. Luckily we had visa of Malaysia and Thailand. So returned back to Thailand. Please don't go to Sri Lanka on Pakistani passport
I applied for Srilankan tourist visa on Pakistani passport and my visa was approved within one day When I travelled to Srilanka, my immigration process was smooth
I just before 3 days travelled by SriLankan airlines...had a long transit....flight was delayed while going as well as returning. Also poor spicy food ...got food poison They provide only 3 hours wifi...how will we be in contact with our family with 15 hours transit... specially if the flight is delayed
I visited Sri Lanka after ten years in April 23, I've been more than 10 times to SL already and only this time I was questioned for over 2-3 minutes. I was fortunately allowed to enter the country

It is weird that a Pakistani passport is better treated in developed countries (where apparently we want to immigrate to) compared to other developing countries. In many cases, it appears those immigration officers are also looking for something. My own experience in all developed countries has been quite good (US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, China, UAE, Saudi, Qatar, Bahrain, etc.) if you have the proper visa and reason for travel.

Immigration ne mje peche officer k kamre ma bheja, 3 ghante tang kia , mentally torture kia. then asked for 200 dollars, warna deport kren gy. i already travelled 4 countries , sab kuch tha mere pas. jaan boojh kr paiso ki khatir tang kia.. finally maine bargain krne k bad majboori mai 100 dollar de diye.... Lahore ka ek tourist mila mje bad ma, us se b 200 dollar liye.
Ager Apko 1st Entry Mil Jati hai Phir Second Time Issue Nahi hoga Apko. But be careful for everything. Its depend on there mood, your luck, & current situation etc....
Immigration is the worst at colombo for even Indians. They ask u for Tourist Visa payment even ur stay is as small as 7 hours.This is when they have provision for Transit Visa.

Brother u need to worry ,I really impressed by the attitude of sirlankan people very humble and kind but the corruption is fed in our 3rd world system

Srilanka eta validity start 30 days from 1st arrival/ landing??? or from date of approval???
