As someone who’s working in the creative field I love hearing him speak about the creative experience as a whole. Absolutely hit the nail on the head. Because ultimately it’s not about reaching perfection or a final destination. Everything is constantly moving & evolving which is exactly what makes it so fulfilling.

i found this interview ACCIDENTALLY, watched the first 10 mins, decided it was too good to watch while i was busy doing other things, so i went back to it on my lunch break. I LEARNED SO MUCH
I've instantly loved him in the Bridgerton series, both the character and the actor, and so when I saw this interview of him, it made me love him even more. He is so well spoken and passionate about his craft. He really seems like an intelligent, and great guy. Love to see more of him!
PLEASE interview Luke again! His season is coming and this was so lovely, we need that part two! I want to know how things have changed for him and what has stayed the same. How he feels about being a leading man! I hope you can get him back again!
As a french person moving to the States when I was 3 and attending an american school with french parents at home, I can really relate to the language switches he talks about. Different personnalities, different words for different situations, i keep switching depending on what I need to convey! The capacity to find interests in different cultures... yes, so familiar! There's such a richeness to be found :) Great interview, absolutely loved watching this, thank you!

As someone who is going to be applying to British drama schools in two years, and as someone who just discovered the treasure that is Luke T, this is the perfect interview. Thank you so much Ryan!
As a French (and absolutely PROUD of my culture, he's totally right on it) I would absolutely love to hear him speaking French. It's amazing to see him speaking so freely about growing up there and not taking it as a burden. Wonderful interview!!
Je te rejoins sur cette idée, je savais pas du tout qu'il avait vécu en France, et (bizarrement) ça me rend fière de le voir réussir tout en appréciant ce qu'il a appris ici !
Funny how his way through the process to get into drama school was similar to Bennedict's, when they both realize that they can go on and do what they believe and like, despite not getting into an academic school. But in the end, both got in, one into drama and the other into arts school. Agree, Universe is always ruling everything. Luke is much more deeper than some other actors that I do like, it must be awesome a personality like his around. At the first, I didn't get into all the frenzy about Bridgerton when it came out in late 2020. As a health professional, that was definitely crazy times and life was resumed to hospitals. Later, I've tried to watch season 1 and it didn't catch me. I have literally thought, wow, is it like a regency's version of gossipgirl? It was only at the beginning of this year, when I was browsing netflix, that I decided to give another try. I have enjoyed myself watching season 1, but not as much as I did watching season 2, which made me read book 4 and 3, in this order, cause I couldn't wait to find out what happens next. Not that it will be exactly like the books. Anyways, I am glad I have insisted in watch it, cause now I have even read A little life, which I could related into by so many ways, thanks to the series that has introduce Luke and his work to me. I wish we could have more intelligent and deep interviews with him like that.
Luke, I had a similar experience. I was trying to get good enough grades for a scholarship and had just taken an exam and didn't get the "A" I wanted/needed. I stood in the parking lot and thought about my options. I could change my major from Chemistry to Business and I would do well. I decided I wanted to keep studying Chemistry because I loved it and if I didn't get the scholarship, well, I'd get through the program some way, some how. I aced the next exam and got the mark I needed to get the scholarship. I have often thought it was because I became relaxed enough that what I needed to recall came to me. I'm thinking that once you decided you were going to act and that was what you wanted even if it didn't come as you anticipated, you relaxed and your innate talent took over. BTW, I love how your face moves in minute ways to express thoughts and emotions. Not all actors can do this.
I love how committed he is with his passion and when he talked about complicated culture, i can relate to that. Since i was 18 i went overseas for my education, moved from different countries and ended up in Bristol same as him.
Luke is such an interesting person. It was good to hear his experience growing up in France, going through school and working on Bridgerton. I often wondered what it was like for actors to work the scenes out of sequence. Great interview questions. Thanks
Listening to Luke just say "drama school isn't necessary" was so great to hear, I didn't go to drama school, I did a three year acting degree and currently I'm trying to figure out what channels to go down to get an agent
This interview is so inspirational. Luke's passion for what he does, how he processes his experiences, and why he gravitates to certain things is so interesting to listen to! Loved the back and forth between the interviewer and Luke also, felt as though they were on a level with one another 😅
Oh I really hope you get to interview him when his season comes out, you did a great job. I love that you had so much time to really talk and learn about him. It's also great that he got to work in French (Transatlantique hopefully has him speaking French) and in theater (A Little Life) this year!
The best interview so far that I have seen and listened. It allowed to know more about the actor and his career. Most of the interviews I have seen of Luke are focused in his role in Bridgeton.
So fun re-watching this a year after this was recorded! He said he wanted to do a big part in a play and is doing one now, playing Willem in A Little Life. He also did get to do some french (voice)acting for his part in Transatlantic. So happy for him. Try to get him on again!
Thank you for this interview, Ryan! It's truly shown how he's so passionate and loves his job as an actor.
