Lamborghini Absurdity: Why does the Huracan Sterrato exist?

Lamborghini has announced the Huracan Sterrato. This is the offroad version of the Lamborghini Hurcan. It is somewhat limited edition at 1499 units. However, the Huracan has myriad iterations already, slightly reducing the specialness. It is also slower and with incremental improvements over the standard Hurcan. Thus, while it is interesting and absurd, it is not clear why the Hurcan Sterrato exists...

It exists becasue the customers asked for it. Not everyone is a tool that want's to have the same Lamboghini as everyone else and they certainly don't want their route limited to having stop stop and utilize the lift when there is a small bump in the road. I'm all for the Sterrato as someone who is tired of having to worry about heavily damaging a quarter to half of a million dollar car (depending on what I'm driving) , every time I drive it. I live in the rural midwest so the roads aren't always the greatest.

How has the lp570 ownership been so far? Have you still been having issues with it?

The LP570 has been going well. I've only had to replace the clutch. And I did that around 18 months ago. Otherwise I haven't had any issues. It's been amazingly reliable.
My only complaint is that it can sometimes feel "slow" at low RPM and when accelerating from a dead stop.
I should do a 2 year ownership update on it...
