That "Please don't leave, Susie, I can't go on alone" followed by the "do you wanna buy" spam against a sorrowful piano followed by Battle Against A True Hero leitmotifs did things to me on an emotional level. What a perfect way to musically reframe Puppet!Kris from a goofy gremlin trying to sell me some weird Japanese product to a broken soul who turned to madness because it was the only thing left for him after losing everything else.

In the Spamton NEO fight, you're racing towards him on the karts as he attacks.
I feel like in this fight, since it's a swap, Kris would be racing TOWARDS the carts from behind, racing towards you on all 4s to catch you. His whole thing in the AU was that he wanted to be in your party, so he would no doubt be going after you.

@@hampang2 Still it doesn't change the fact its annoying when someone comes and says ''UM THEY AREE THEY/THEM!! especially with the fact I don't really think anyone in the game itself mentioned if kris prefers to be called they them, but honestly though when its something that doesn'taffectt the story because it's not technically confirmed in the history I really don't see a reason to care about it, no offense it's just that its not a real-life character and the story never mentioned it.
I like how Giga Pudding's pronunciation makes it sound more like "Got what ya need". Is nice.

tbh, I have never gotten the chance to leave the fandom. This is because I discovered Undertale only a couple years before Deltarune.
This is amazing! Given that it's supposed to be NEO Kris, it really does feel like he genuinely is a successor of Spamton, living by his ideology
I love how Kris pleads to the protagonists in the song while being contrasted by the other lyrics of just nonsense, it gives the allusion toward Kris truly just being a person driven by desperation who seeks a way out, whether that be comfort within friends, or by gaining power to claw his way up no matter the cost. I also just love the design and especially the red/orange heart-like plate on his chest, as if even when in neo form his soul shines fervently through his dark and heavy armor

@@lantancake yes, but personally I view Kris as a he for no other reason besides me, a guy, playing as Kris, who has no defined pronouns. While Kris may be designed a certain way, there is still nothing explicitly proving Kris goes by any particular pronouns, just like all humans in Deltarune and Undertale.

@@lantancake if you're referring to the livestream, that is very insubstantial evidence, as it isn't even directly regarding the comment, and no one in that situation took it as signalling except the audience. There is a difference between ambiguity and NB rep. I would be fine with Kris being NB, and I usually do refer to Kris as such in conversations about specifically Kris's identity, yet there is still no proof to my knowledge that Kris is NB. Also, the singer in this song is a male, which could've contributed to me associating Kris with he in the original comment. Also, you ignored like half my reply regarding other intentionally ambiguous traits of Kris and Toby Fox's playable character designs.

So, did incorporating Giga Pudding into TOP Kris’s character/songs come from something posted by the actual The Other Puppet AU, or was it just a source that was sampled in place of Spamton’s vocals that caught on in the remixing community?
For the record, I’m familiar with the AU proper, so no need to explain that aspect; I actually really like its concept! I’m just curious if Kris specifically being a giga pudding enthusiast is official to the LORE or not :P

I assume Giga Pudding had no real origin other than that the creator of the AU occasionally calls them GIGA Kris. It would also fit Kris’ being a general funnyman outside of the players control
Also, seeing as Kris shares a lot of Toby Fox’s talents (Piano, Coding), who’s to say they don’t also speak Japanese?

I see theotherpuppet kirs as being a Jim Henson muppet (that one's obvious) and GIGA kris as maybe an animatronic type character like you'd see at Disneyland. As opposed to Spamton who goes from ventriloquist puppet to marionette.
Also the Disneyland thing is just an example of what I mean by animatronic I don't think giga kris would fit in with the other Disneyland animatronics-
one thing I always found to be rather interesting in this AU is the idea that the dark world messes with the minds of those that enter it, these kids entered long ago, but lost their minds and became these beasts Madoka Magica style, now adults are entering these worlds in an attempt to save these kids.

I had a weird dream involving this Deltarune AU, Attack on Titan, and Earthbound.
The main characters of Attack on Titan climbed a huge Aztec temple to save Eren, then at the top, there was Puppet Kris who turned Eren into a Giygas like creature, saying his mind was consumed by power and chaos, and the only way to stop him is to defeat him. So it goes into this Deltarune/ Earthbound battle scene with Mikasa, Armin, and Jeane or Connie going against Giygas Eren in a pixelated battle. Turns out, Puppet Kris was the Pokey of the group, and he was using them to break Eren's Soul Shield. Puppet Kris instantly took Eren's soul and became Puppet Kris the Undying, except he was bigger than Eren's Titan form in the last episode of season 4 part 2. Then it became a 3d fight of everyone trying to defeat Puppet Kris the Undying while playing Giga Puddin, which looked very cool.
Those are my dreams.
